A New Dawn

"Do you ever think about the future?" Harry asked, staring into the flames.

Draco sighed, leaning back in his chair. "All the time. But it's hard to see past the mistakes I've made."

Harry turned to look at him, his green eyes filled with empathy. "We all made mistakes, Draco. What matters is what we do now."

Draco met Harry's gaze, a flicker of hope in his eyes. "Do you really believe that?"

Harry nodded. "I do. And I think you can do great things if you give yourself a chance."

Draco smiled, a genuine smile that Harry had rarely seen. "Thanks, Potter. That means a lot."
