The Princess Maid

Mirieldan (Miri) Lennox was known, at the age of 18, as the oldest orphan in her orphanage until now. Now, she works as a maid for the young princess, Adra. In the Palace, Miri is thrust into quite a foreign world and one surprisingly filled with handsome heartthrobs. There's the mysterious palace guard, A, who keeps popping up, usually when she's hanging out with the funny kitchen cook, Jack. Then, there's the handsome Prince just returning from the South who catches Miri's attention. Their late night library meet ups are innocent enough, filled with reading and occasional conversation, but soon, a budding romance is forming between the two. Miri doesn't know what to think about her secret relationship with the Prince, but she does know that she doesn't want to lose him.
