Mutasim Lycan is your everyday average gamer. Except instead of playing games like Call of Duty and Fortnite, he repeatedly plays the Drakengard games, or rather 1 and 3. Most would see the games as gory, but also unplayable due to the repetitiveness of the games. In Mutasim's eyes, that's what made them so good. The idea that you, as the protagonist in the game, do nothing but kill all because that's all you can do. It worked well with the themes he thought.
