Alex is a sweet, shy, book worm who has a love of basketball. But in her hometown South Webster, Ohio she is to afraid to put herself out they and play. Instead she spends her days in the library reading book after book. That is until her dad gets a new job and they move to Melborn beach Florida. Here, Alex discovers good friends, and of course boys. But, little does Alex know they are gonna break her out of her shell, one way or another.
