Children of the Serpent

For most of Lux's life, she has had powers that terrify her. When something angers her, her eyes flash dark and her hair changes into serpents. For years she has cursed these powers, believing that they are setting her apart from others, making her unable to fit in. Just as she is realizing her true potential, she meets Alrik; a boy who teaches her that she is not the only Child of Medusa, but one of many. Together, Alrik, Lux and their group of friends must battle an unknown force to keep their powers, and save their kind.
