DeLuca stuck his hand out, looking at me expectantly but I took a hesitant step back.

"Why should I trust you?" I asked eyeing him warily. My heart was telling me to grab his hand and to let all my guards down but my brain was reminding me of everyone who ever let me down and in situations like these I liked to listen to the more reasonable organ.

He studied me quietly before he answered. "What have you got to lose?"

And in that split second between trusting my instincts and trusting my heart, I chose my heart.

Me? I'm Just A Girl is my first novel on Wattpad and I am pretty confident in the story-line.

Just a heads up everything in this book is completely fictional, from the names of the towns, schools, government figures and such. It is all fictional and apart of my imagination. I hope you guys enjoy this love story as much as I do because it is truly something special.
