Marco is a man thats a part of the notorious Whitebeard mafia in Grand line city. He, along with his friends are pretty much living life on the edge, and sometimes on the down low. Originally, Marco planned to become a famous photographer, but things didn't go his way, and he ends up in this mafia. But one day, Marco falls down the stairs, and he's forced to go to the hospital. There, he meets the young, hottie of a doctor, Dr Allastor D Lilith Kira, a woman that is 24 years of age. She's one of the head doctors, and she was the doctor that ends up taking care of Marco.

But then, it turns out that Kira is actually in a very abusive relationship with her boyfriend, Josiah. He makes her steal drugs from the hospital, Morphine in particular. If she doesn't heed & obey him, then she is beaten, and is left with bruises on her face & arms. If she does obey Josiah, then nothing bad will happen. Marco notices her bruises, and asks her about them, but she ends up pushing him away, just so that he will be safe, and won't end up in trouble.
