Loki's voice kept Natalia moving in the Red Room. She was young, and fell in love with a man who might be part of her imagination. Years pass of his absence, events took place in her life but she never seemed to forget about him whether he was a fantasy or not. When she was already a part of SHIELD, Fury decided to take on the Avengers Initiative because of an extraterritorial threat. What happens when Natalia meets with Loki again, and she has to fight him? Will her love for him make her switch sides?

After the Winter-Soldier event, SHIELD agent Natasha Romanoff thought she could finally rest for a while, but the break was disturbed after Loki's arrival with unknown reasons. With SHIELD trying to take him for so many times, Natasha helped Loki escape every time, however being in contradiction when facing other SHIELD agents that were supposed to come and help her. Questioning each other, Natasha and Loki couldn't stop doubting but still, helping each other when one of them needed it, and a strange friendship was developed between them, after a while, more than that . Having similiar past, they got to know each other more, then, rebuilt each other through the journey of life.

Quintin grows suspicious of the new girl, Renée. August tries to form a friendship with Peter's new girlfriend. She goes to two new friends, Ned and MJ for some advice.

After his death-defying stunt in Svartalfheim, Loki is pardoned for his crimes and given a chance to return to Midgard and help the Avengers find his scepter. His only goal is to get out of Asgard and he certainly has no desire to make friends, but there's something about the Black Widow... Steve's had an interesting time adjusting to the 21st century, but it's been a bit easier since the Invasion of New York. If it was good for one thing, it was that it introduced him to Natasha Romanoff, his best friend (whom he sorta-kinda made out with on a mall escalator and whom he would very much like to do that again with). Needless to say, Loki and Steve don't exactly click.
