Sylvie Brett is the new rookie paramedic at firehouse fifty one, she's bubbly and eager. She also came to Chicago for a fresh start after running away from a bad life in Fowlerton. Matt Casey is firehouse fifty one very serious Lieutenant, his main focus is his job and he haven't been in a relationship since high school. Matt also struggles to open up about his past or life to anyone in the firehouse. When Matt and Sylvie meet, they begin to change each other lives for the better and feelings begin to develop but are either of them willing to admit their more them friendship between them.

This is my take on Sylvie's perspective of the night that Matt made his amazing confession. Just a fun but short one shot :) Chicago Fire 9x15
