When I was born, they gave me the watch. It started with 17 years, 3 months, 5 hours, 39 minutes, and 17 seconds. Now, I watch, excited, as it ticks down. 5 seconds. 4 seconds. 3 seconds. 2 seconds. 1 second. For that one beautiful moment, it says seven days. Seven days, and the most important thing of my life will happen. Will I meet my true love? Will I finally get accepted into my dream college? That sounds wonderful, but I can't help thinking...
