(Based Off Of My Breyer Horses) Mailk is a young bay Arabian Stallion. He has lived within the protection of his herd for as long as he can remember....nothing but peace and joy with his mother and brother. However, when the herd's fearless leader, Forthwind, drives Mailk away from his home, he is forced to use all of his cunning and wits to survive. Ever since that terrible day, Mailk has lived on his own, without the assistance of any other horse since he cannot trust them anymore. He chooses freedom over safety, and has lived for six years alone surviving in the harsh wilderness. However, when two horses come to his aid in his greatest time of need, Brookside and Lucky, Mailk finds himself torn in staying with his new friends and becoming wild once more. But when a group of humans capture Lucky and take her captive, Mailk chooses companionship over his own freedom, and teams up with Brookside on a daring mission to rescue their friend from human clutches.

I got down on my hands and knees, the grass poking me and the leaves sticking to my hands and pants. As I crawled through, it felt as though I was entering a forbidden castle...one that hadn't been entered in years. I stood up and brushed the leaves and grass from my clothes. Taking in my surroundings, I saw a haunted house before me. Most people would leave it alone, but I was a curious person. I had entered the beyond, and I would explore it. I pushed the door open and walked in. A 2-part short story I'm writing based on the Owl City song Plant Life. Kind of a mini-writing challenge. (Constructive criticism is more than welcome; I'd appreciate the feedback)

A million years into the future, mankind is scattered, yet not broken. We have spread through multiple solar systems on multiple planets, conquered worlds, making new homes for our race to survive. Yet our first home, Earth, has died. A dust ball without oceans. Life - an idea lost to the ages - has not moved upon its crust for many, many years. A small team of scientists, botanists and ecologists remain on the ISS locked in orbit, journeying to The Dome once every eight - six months. The Dome, located near the old European centre, is a colossal green house designed to bring plant life back to Earth, though on the most recent study, the team never returned.

The great Guardian Deity of the forest has been reborn! With that comes the sentient Plantlife that it watches over. Rexxu, The average Scrub, is simply living his best life. Basically, as far away from his species as possible. Hating social interaction (as it takes far too much energy), Rexxu is alerted and drawn out of his slumber for a scrub that walks into a dangerous section of the woods and sets off to find her. Through a flurry of unforeseen circumstances, Rexxu meets his fate getting killed by a magical seed from a couple of miles up. New friends, varying cultures, and unsuspecting victims! Nothing is excluded when your own death is the call to adventure! (Especially when you didn't want to go...) Inspired by Legend of Zelda, a plethora of reincarnation stories, and the monsters swimming around in my head. I hope you enjoy the adventure of an underpowered character! Working on it every day and releasing it when I feel like it. Deal.

A simple poem of mine that I wrote for the main purpose of enjoyment, which is why I ended it so loosely. Not meant to be taken too seriously as in "I support plant life completely! Don't hurt the trees!" I mean, I see how we use trees for paper and plant life for curing disease and such and how it benefits us in a man-made way, but this is pretty much showing how it is also essential to life in a "Don't bother it." type of way. I hope you enjoy it.

In the ruins of the paradise that Earth once was, a small settlement lives on meager resources. This is my home. We should be grateful for our lives, thankful to the Sky that it spared us from the Must, right? That's what the adults say. But few can distinguish between who in the end was lucky: the ones who caught it and slept, or the ones who escaped it and were left. "Think positive," they say. "Have hope," they say. But hope can only go so far. I can't "hope" my mother back to life, now that the Must has stolen her away from me. They'd claim I'm only being cynical. They'd tell me to look up and "pray to the Sky!" But in a world like this, with a life like this, this thing called "hope" is worthless.

Does it ever seem like the wind is whispering to you, as it flows through all that is? Those who have learnt some of the true ways of the world may know the truth on that matter. That it is not the wind but the plant life that speaks the unspeakable, for the flora, the vegetation, knows more of you than you know of it. When something is intelligent, humane in its own way, then it longs to learn, discover, do and make itself known. If something is truly sentient but its unable to show it, to communicate with others, it will do anything, anything at all. When something is imprisoned within itself, that is when a true anomaly will occur...
