❝People came and went in the other studios, but studio five remained occupied, music trickling gently from the crack in the door. Inside, June forgot there was anyone else in the building. After a certain point, she forgot there was a world at all. The universe became her image in the mirror and the throbbing hurt in her ankle, her head, her lungs, and the swell of the music thrumming under her feet. Sweet drops of relief, the momentary weightlessness of lifting onto the toe of her point shoe. The soaring sensation of fouette turns, air stirring beneath her. Pain pulsed in her fingertips and raced up through her neck. But that was it. That was what she needed. She gritted her teeth and kept going. ❞ Cover by @sufferingly

Taking a deep dive to explore overwhelming issues- the inevitable reality check and an attempt to allow flowers to bloom from the ashes with a rather twisted sense of humor. ( Yes, Poetry is rife and spirituality is an overpowering theme so if it's not particularly your scene, don't even bother. No, of course this is not me trying to use reverse psychology to get you to read this . *Inserts Evil Laugh Here* )

I usually write stories for other people. Brave people who needed a voice. People who wanted to be heard about their own horrific and personal injustices. I wanted to show them same people my story. It is Graphic, raw and triggering. It took three years of therapy. One stolen draft and a lot of tears. This is me. This is my story.
