***Health warning: I’ve not updated any of these stories in a year or more (I’m getting around to it, honest) and all are in a deplorable, by which I mean cringe worthy,  state. I advise against reading but if you are so inclined, please bare this in mind. **

Hi, I’m Anna: a self confessed writing addict with delusions of literary grandure. By this I mean that I adore writing, get depressed when I’m not writing and would love to have a future based on writing but that I also realise that I’m really not that great at it. Still, that has never and will never stop me from doing what I love. Neil Gaiman  introduced me to the theory that a novel is best described as ‘a long piece of pros with something wrong with it’ and I wholeheartedly agree with it.
  I’m blind and have a knee replacement due to cancer but you won’t find this forming the basis for my writing (well, not in so many words anyway). I disagree strongly with the idea of writing what you know; I write to find out what I know. I’m often surprised how many times my characters seem to make decisions for themselves but I have to say, its nice to have the pressure taken off me for a bit when they do.
  Anyway, right now on this account are the scribblings (or tappings as I type everything I write) of a younger writer than I am now. I’m not condemning them but I really wouldn’t encourage reading them either, not until I’ve had a tidy up first. Needless to say, my style and  interests have moved on somewhat since I last uploaded.
If you were interested enough to read all that then you’re more patient than I am but thank you and hopefully I’ll get to those updates sometime this decade.
