As far as I remember, I have always been fascinated by history, and the wars of the past has intrigued me a lot, especially of how people were living in the midst of such horrors, turmoil uncertainty and fear. 

Over time, I have realised that not a lot of stories are written from this historical perspective, hence I wanted to challenge myself to create something new, apart from the typical novels/fantasy themes I wrote about back then.

A lot of time, research and effort has been invested in this story to make it as close to the actual history as possible. Despite that, there's no doubt that it's never gonna be 100% accurate. 

Lastly, do read this with an open mind and I really hope that you are able to feel the characters and experience the story itself.  Feedback is highly appreciated so please feel free to leave your comments!
