I'm 28 years old and a shameless weather geek, bookworm and overall nerd. A country girl at heart in the Tar Heel State with a borderline unhealthy love of Glen Powell and his various characters/roles (particularly Tyler Owens, Jake "Hangman" Seresin and Ben Richards, to name a few). While I've written over the years (including a couple of original works that were started on Wattpad but have been put on hold due to writer's block), I hadn't really gone online with any of my works until now. I've recently made my debut on Tumblr with a handful of one-shots that were created during the Twisterversary event in Summer 2025 and have since been cross-posted to Wattpad in a collection, most of which have culminated in my first full-fledged fanfic.

Story behind the nickname: While working at my first full-time job, I had worn a replica of Maverick's leather bomber jacket to the office on the day of Halloween since I had wanted to 'dress up' but still needed to be professional. Since the office had a 'casual' dress code (meaning jeans and a dress shirt or t-shirt), the jacket had been my go-to (especially since we had cool weather that day). After wearing the jacket to the office a few times even after Halloween, a few colleagues had wanted to give me the nickname Maverick. I politely turned it down, saying that there was only one "Maverick" and I did not see myself as worthy of the nickname, but still wanted a nickname that was as unique yet specific to me. After a few ideas were tossed around, a close friend of mine came up with Tempest, owing to my 'affinity' for the weather, and it has kind of stuck since then.
