Hi! I'm Muskaan Taqdees (but call me Taqsy, its cuter) I'm professional overthinker, part time author and full time mess. I write because therapy is expensive and fictional worlds don't judge me for being emotionally attached to morally grey men and women with soft hearts but savage. 
I live off caffeine, emotional damage from fictional characters, and the dramatic need to create stories that make you cry, scream, fall in love and then question your life choices.

what I like: 
~Slow burns that make me scream into pillows.
~Plot twist that hurt just right.
~Rainy weather, warm blankets, and that one perfect playlist (on repeat)
~Characters who suffer (because why not?)
~Writing at 3 AM and regretting it by 9 
~Being dramatic (it's an art form)
~My son (even if he hijacks my writing time)
~Sarcasm. Lots of it. It's my love language)

what I don't like:
~When characters don't listen to me (I'M THE AUTHOR. LISTEN!)
~Real life getting in the way of fictional heartbreak
~Predictable plots
~People who ask "Is this story based on your life?" (No, but thanks for the concern.)
~Cliffhanger questions like "Next update when?" (Soon. Maybe. Eventually. Maybe- after I cry about it, okay?)
~Perfect, bland characters - give me flaws or give me nothing
~Being told single mothers can't chase dreams - watch me
~and yes..."Beta kab dusri shaadi kar rahi ho?" 
Ma'am unless you're sending me a fictional man with a tragic backstory, intense eyes, killer dialogues, and the ability to love me like he was written for me- please, respectfully, no thanks.

If you love stories that hurt a little, love a lot, and stay with you like that one song you can't forget - this is your place.
