I'm a 17-year-old artist who recently discovered my passion for writing poetry when I tried writing music, but it sounded more like words carved on paper rather than ones you would hear trough your ear buds.

you've probably heard of a lot of poets like William Shakespeare, known for his American poetry and his plays.
or maybe you've heard of Emily Dickinson, known for her American poetry, bold original verse, which stands out for its epigrammatic compression, haunting personal voice, and enigmatic brilliance.
or possibly Maya Angelou, known for being an American poet, memoirist, and actress whose several volumes of autobiography explore the themes of economic, racial, and sexual oppression.
and maybe you even know one of my favorites, Edgar Allan Poe, known for his gothic Poetry and short stories. (We share the same birthday too! 🖤🫶🏻 )

but I would like to introduce you to a less known artist in the poetry field, me.
my work won't be perfect.
it's going to be raw and real.
showing emotions I go through and my every thought through life as a teenager.

read it, or don't. I plan on writing till the flame in my soul dies down or my fingers fall off, but even then, I'll use my teeth to type.
