The fire was blazing before me. The dancing flames had me mezmorized at its beauty.The soft crackling made my eye lids droopy causing me to lie against the cold earth. As my mind slowly crept to a sleeping state, the light vanished and a cold liquid splashed onto my face. I groaned softly and opened my eyes. I was in the air, panicking i squermed a bit my mothers voice calmed me. She was carrying me. Where were we going? Why was she running.. growling sounded behind us followed by the thudding of paws hitting the ground.Whats going on!? My mom at that moment threw me up into a tree. I clinged onto a branch for dear life as I watched my mom get torn to shreds.

I shot up screaming. My face was damp with tears. Wide eyed, i scanned the darkness of my room for any signs of danger. My wolf was skittish and jumpy from the dream.

Thats a good idea... i thought back to my wolf. I jumped out of bed and went straight to my window, opeining it and jumping out.. I was already shifted when i hit the ground. A light snow was falling as i dug my nails into the cold earth. Bursting forward I was sprinting through the forest. My mind kept flashing to that day. I shook my head, wanting to erase the haunting dream. My eyes became blurry with tears as i continued to think about it.

Trees seemed to vanish as my sight disappeared. Why am I crying!? I dont cry... this shows im weak! I am a strong wolf. Stop crying. Come on...stop! Ugh! I cant stop this stupid crying.. digging my nails down, i slowed to a stop and looked at the closet tree. I charged toward it and smashed my head against it. STOP CRYING YOU IDIOT!!

My wolf suddently took over and continued to run. What the heck?! I didnt know your wolf could just take ov- my body stumbled forward. I groaned and opened my eyes everything was upside down!! Wait... I'm upside down. Rolling over, I sat up and looked at my surroundings. Five large wolves where advancing towards me. Taking action i glared at them with bared teeth. A growl building up in my throat. 

As if they where all mind linked they jumped upon me knocking me to the ground. Being on the ground is bad! Ok focus Dustin. A wolf was in front of me, Its leg right infront of my face. Reached my neck forward I bit down on the brown wolf's leg and thrashed my head a bit. A pain shot through me and i let the wolf go, it ran off towards a cave that was at the end of the clearing. Dizziness filled my head as the pain increased. No dont shut your eyes! Dont give up. Dont.

Pushing my legs into the ground i managed to stand up. One wolf on my back bit down on my neck. Crap! Dont give up, dont give up, dont give up... i repeated that in my head as I broke from the three wolves and bucked my back legs up sending the wolf tumbling over head tearing a chuck of my flesh as it went. More dizziness poured into my head.. how much longer can i make it? I backed toward the forest and growled at the wolves. I ear piercing howl sounded over the growls and snarls. I black wolf bounded out of the cave followed by two dark grey wolves.

I collapsed to the ground. My body not able to handle this anymore. My eyes slid closed as my mind finally slipped into the dark.
