My vision came back a few minutes later.. it was the weirdest thing. The blackness just slowly dissapeared and everything was like normal again. Dom was pretty confused too. He said he was going to look it up to figure out what had happened.

Now currently I'm running my fingers along the thick chain that confined me to this room. I havent seen the witch all day.. I wonder where she could be...

I got an idea! Shift!! My wolf's voice was full of excitment

The heck? I imagined my wolf and my body slowly took the form. I sat on the ground waiting for my wolf's next instructions.

Ok try and pull your head out of the collar.. it might hurt a bit..

I wearily stood to my feet and backed away from the chain. The metal was slowly rising off the ground as I reached the length of the chain. The cool metal collar pushed my ears forward. Ok Dustin you can do this..

I slowly began leaning backwards. The metal around my neck pushing painfully against my ears. I took a step back and leaned more while twisting my head. The metal slowly cut into my ears and neck as I did this. I gritted my teeth and continued this process. The collar slowly pushed my ears down, slipping onto them. I yelped and scrambled back, pulling the collar completely off.

The metal clanked to the ground. I stared at it with wide eyes. I'm free! I jumped around but quickly stopped when my neck stung from the movement. I felt something warm slip through my fur.. probably blood.. oh well! I am a free wolf!!

I trotted forward and nudged the door open, glancing down the hallway. There was no sign of life which I was happy about. I pushed the door the rest of the way open before slipping down the hallway. A strong smell hit my noise and I froze.. it smelled like.. Steak? I crouched down and crawled forward till I reahced the end of the hallway. Janice was standing before her large stove, cooking utensils in hand. She was wistling a soft toon, I took this chance and crept forward.

My body was filled with nerves as I crawled toward the counter. I can do this..... I thought as I slowly rose up from the ground. I leaned back getting ready to spring forward. I let my breath out before taking in another, and then I leaped. I jumped over the countertops and landed upon her back. My claws digging in her shoulders as she fell forward against the hot stove. Her scream filled the room as I curcled my claws in. I jumped off her back and watched as the blood slowly seaped out of the open wounds. She staggered back and turned toward me. Blistering skin covered her face and spots on her arms. I took a fighting stance waiting for her to make a move.

She quickly slammder her hand to the side sending me flying over. My back hit a wall, knocking pictures to the floor. I growled loudly and rose again. Shaking the glass off before jumping at her again. She rose her shaking hand again and pushed the air infront of her which sent me backwards again. This time my back slammed against a wooden table. Pain shot through my spine at the contact and a yelp escaped my lips.

Suddenly the loud pounding off footsteps caused me and Janice to look towards the hallway. Dom was in mid air shifting. He landed on the ground with a thud before lifting off again and attacking Janice. She was too surprised to have reacted which was good. Dom bit down on her neck, his jaw clenching as blood began dripping. !?

Dom realeased her and she fell to the ground. Blood began to slowly pool around her lifeless body. I looked at Dom who was shifting back to human. He collapsed on the ground, his skin was turning into a ghostly white color. His hair was also changing to. It was now grey.

"Run! She will be back soon.." Dom's voice sounded so fragile..

Wait back soon? What?! I looked at Janice against and saw the wounds on her body where slowly being stitched together. I quickly rose to my feet and ran towards the back door. I head butted it and broke through it. I landed clumsily onto the ground before I took off into the forest.

Trees became blurry as I ran at top speed.

Jason!?!? I yelled. The empty feeling of before was no longer there.

Dustin? Is that you!? Jason's voice was full of hope.

Yes.. its me!

Where are you!?

I slowed to a walk and glanced around. Where am I?

I have no clue...

Crap ok.. Stay there! Raven is looking for you.

Ok..

I missed him so much.. why am I so stupid? Did I have to run away like that? I mean come on. That was a stupid reason to run away. I need to stop acting like some spoiled brat. I am a man.. kinda. I have to be strong even when there's something I dont like.

I sighed and lied down on the cool ground, resting my head on my fuzzy white paws.

Caw! Caw!

The heck? I looked up and saw a large black raven slowly flying through the trees.. Is that Raven?

I jumped up and started barking like mad. Birds scattered and disappeared beyond the trees. The black bird my attention was on soared down and landed gracefully before me. A black fog slowly formed around it. Completely engulfing the animal. Moments later Raven stood before me.

"Oh my god! I've missed you so much!" Yelled Raven. He fell forward and wrapped his around around my neck. I yelped in pain at the stinging it caused. Raven gasped and backed away.

"You ok?" He asked.

I shook my head quickly, tears quickly filled my eyes. Raven looked at me with worry.

"Wanna go back home?" He asked softly. His voice was so calm and warm. I liked it.

I nodded my head and Raven slowly walked off in a direction, probably towards home. Where my Jason would be.. God I wanna see him! I quickly followed after him, excited to finally see my mate again.
