Arrival

I ended up staying at Juliet's house. Shes actually a really sweet girl, we have so much in common too! She said she moved here a few weeks ago but was to afraid to go to school. Today was her first day and she never even made it into the school. Okay so we both love the arts which means we most likely will be seeing each other a lot through out the school day! Finally I might have a best friend! Oh and here's the best part.... shes a werewolf too! There are no other werewolves at this school but us. Now I have someone I can go running with! This is awesome!

Juliet and I walked out of the glass door to the dark forest that stood there waiting for us. She covered her eyes giggling as I took off my clothes tossing them to the ground. I took a deep breath and let my wolf take over my body. My limbs started shifting and moving with loud snaps as they got into place. Fur slowly crept over my body as my mouth got longer turning into a muzzle. My ears shifted up and soon I was a pure white wolf. I let out a whine to let Juliet know I was done. 

She dropped her hands and her eyes went wide. She ran towards me and ran her fingers through my fur.

"Your beautiful! Oh my gosh! I wish I was this color! You're so lucky!" She went on and on about how I looked.

I let out a whimper as she called me cute, beautiful, adorable. 

"Ah sorry! Go run ahead ill catch up in a few!" She giggled and slowly took off her shirt. I spun around and left through the air to give myself a good start. My nails dug into the snowy earth as I propelled through the dark forest. Soon trees became a blur as my speed grew, snow flew up behind me as I continued to run. I adjusted my hearing to see if I could hear her yet, but instead of hearing one wolf's paws hitting the ground I heard 5. I immediately stopped running and let my paws skid across the snow. I linked my mind to Juliet's quickly.

Get here NOW! 

Is everything okay Dustin? she replied 

I hear five other wolves. This isn't good. There are no other wolves here but us!

A sandy wolf bounded through the forest and was soon standing next to me panting.  I heard the soft sound of paws getting closer. I bared my teeth and let out a snarl that echoed through the forest. I wanted them to know I was here and that I wasn't afraid. 

My head snapped to the right and I moved to face that way. Five wolves where slowly walking towards me, they where in a pointed formation. The large black wolf with with red paws was at the tip.. He was the alpha. Flanking to his right was a dark grey wolf like the color of a storm. He was definitely the beta. The wolf on the alpha's left was a reddish color. On his flank was a chestnut wolf. And on the beta's flank was a sandy colored wolf like Juliet. 

They where now standing before me and Juliet, she let out a soft whine. I immediately growled at her and she shrunk back. I glared at the wolves before me wondering why the heck they were here! Suddenly the alpha wolf started shifting, his fur disappearing I took this as a que to shift too so I slowly let my body change back to its normal state. Soon I was standing before the alpha.

"Who are you?" I asked a little anger seeping into my voice.

"I am the alpha of a pack. We just moved here." He replied in a cool voice.

"What!? You moved here??!" I growled and the alpha stood defensively.

"Yes we did and a lot of my pack members will be attending the school here."

"Are you kidding me!? A pack moved in here?!" My eyes went wide at what I said. Soon enough the alpha was back into wolf, growling at me. I quickly changed back into wolf and shook out my body. the change hurting slightly. I growled back at the alpha. He lept through the air at me, I pushed Juliet back quickly. Soon he was on top of me trying to bite at my neck. I used my legs and pushed him off. I stood up quickly and jumped on his back biting at the back of his neck. The alpha smashed down on his side hurting my two paws. I crawled back and crouched down ignoring the pain. I growled loudly baring my teeth. 

He jumped at me again but I rolled out of the way and stood swiftly to my feet. The alpha stood back up and stared at me slowly shifting to human again. I shifted back to and held my hand. It was definitely shattered. 

"I like you wolf. Whats your name?" the alpha asked.

"I'm Dustin." 

With that he shifted back and ran off towards his pack they all followed and soon they disappeared among the trees. I turned back and looked at Juliet She was lying on the ground with her head on her paws. I slowly went back to wolf and ran to my house. Wanting to forget about what happened.

I stood before my house. I sighed knowing my dad had people over. I quickly lept onto the trunk of the tree next to the house and climbed up to the first branch. I hopped over the roof of the house I shifted back to human and used my good hand to open my window which i always left unlocked for moments like this. I climbed in through the window and left it open in case my dad came in here. I pulled on boxers and flopped on my bed, letting the sleep take over.

I slowly woke to light pouring through my window.  Light snow was falling through and melting on the wooden floor. I groaned and flopped out of bed crawling over to my window to shut it. Once it was nice and closed I looked at my clock and saw I slept in. I scrambled around my room pulling on pants and a shirt before running down the stares ignoring the mess my dad has made. As I walked down the steps I saw that my truck wasn't there. A growl was forming in my throat as i started walking towards my disgusting school.
