Leo POV
I was sitting on the deck, sleep just wasn't coming to me again. However, tonight, I knew why. I should be used to this by now, but it's so difficult with my mom gone. She's been gone for years, but still... it's so hard.
"What're you doing out here little brother?" Stiles asks.
I jump, not having heard Stiles come out here.
"Jeez, Stiles, warn a guy next time."
Stiles laughs. "Sorry, sorry. Seriously though, what's wrong?"
I sighed. "My mom, it should be easier, but it's not."
"It's not going to be."
"But how do you know?"
"Because I'm in the same boat as you Leo. It's not going to get easier, ever. Our dad is basically going insane, our moms are gone, but you know what we still have?"
I shrug.
"Each other and our friends. That's what we have. So, let's make this a good Christmas and spend it with them, sound like a plan?"
I nod as Stiles gets up. He holds his hand out to me to help me up. Taking his hand, we get up and head to the dining room.

So I know this is a filler chapter, but I'm having a very hard time thinking of what to write. If you're willing to give me some ideas, please do! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
