It's So Cold Pt.1

Jason POV
Piper and I head back to the spot where Leo was, only to smell smoke and see foam. "Leo, what happened?!" He shook his head and smiled. "Nothing, just caught off guard." I don't believe him a single bit. "Really? Caught off guard?" Piper asks. Leo flinches and I put a hand on Piper's shoulder. "I'm sorry. Okay? Now let's go." He gets on Festus and we hear Festus give some clicks and whirs. "What'd he say?" Leo shook his head and we got on. I look behind me at Piper who looks a little guilty now. We lift off the ground and fly for about 3 hours before landing. "This is the next stop. Come on." He gets off and heads toward the castle. I shake my head and follow after him. I stop right outside the doors, a feeling of familiarity drifting over me. The doors open and Leo is dragged in. "LEO!!" We run towards the doors only for them to slam shut. We bang on the doors until they finally open. "Jason Grace. Son of Jupiter. What are you doing here with a daughter of Aphrodite and a son of Hephaestus? Even better a fire son of Hephaestus?" I glare at the girl. She has long black hair and pale blue eyes. "Who are you and where's Leo?" I ask. She looks at me and gives me a small smile. "Your friend is alright. I am Kione." I recognize that song but I don't say anything. "We wanna see Leo. Now." She smiles even wider. "Fine, but first, you have to talk to my father. The girl can come with you." I feel Piper grab my hand and clutch onto it. We follow Kione into a huge room and see tons of frozen people and sculptures. Still no Leo. "Ah, Jason Grace. Piper McLean. Pleasure to see you and meet you." I look at him in confusion. "Kione, brig the fire boy in here." She bows and leaves the room. Five minutes later, she comes back with a shivering Leo. His lips are tainted blue and his nose is red. She shoves him down next to us on his knees. "What did you do to him?!" Piper yells. To be honest, she sounds like a concerned mother. I don't blame her. "He's able to control fire. If anything, he shouldn't even be able to live by now." I give Leo a worried glance. "Anyways, lets see if you're worthy enough to take the fire boy back." Piper and I share a look, then we both look over to Leo with worried looks. He shakes his head no. "Leo, we have to do this." He shakes his head and says, "not for me. Just leave." We shake our heads no as I look back over to the King. "What do we have to do?"
