Stiles POV
I landed in the airport at 12:28. Dad was there and I smiled, ran over to him, and wrapped him in a hug. I was so excited, that my ears started steaming. "Stiles. Ears." I quickly realize what he meant, and calm down. Luckily the mist helped a bit. Anyways, we got my bags and left the airport, starting the drive home. "What's it been like since I was gone dad?" He looks at me and smiles, probably remembering that I haven't been home in forever. "Same old same old. A few hiccups here and there, but everything else was okay. How about you, bud? What was New York like? How's Sally?" I chuckled at the mention of Sally. "She's pretty good. New York was New York. Scott and the pack went though. They tried to get me to come back, but I wouldn't let them. They gave up after a few weeks and came home." His face went through joy, anger, and ended on joy. "That's good. Now, I have to go back to work, but there's food in the fridge." I nod and get my stuff from the car. "Bye dad!" He waves through the window, then drives off to work. I walk into the house and see Derek sitting on the couch. "What. The. Heck. Are. You. Doing. Here?" He turned around, a bit startled meaning that he was very focused. "I came to apologize. I'm sorry." "There you said it. Now go." I pointed to the door but he still stood there. "I said go, Derek!" He looked down and did the walk of shame out the door. It was then that I remembered that Percy wanted me to call him when I came home.
Percy Stiles
Hello
Hey. I'm home.
Oh hey! That's great. Did Zeus try to get you out of the sky?
No. I think that's only you babe.
Dang it.
Your moms calling you. You should go.
Yeah. Bye babe. Love you
Love you too.
After we hang up, I go to the fridge to get some food. As I sat down to eat, I thought of how school would be. I shivered at the thought. It's two days until school starts. I'm ready, but at the same time, I'm not.
