The days had flown by. It had been exactly 3 weeks since my 'encounter' with Draco, and he hadn't said a word to me.

Though, I caught him staring at me a few times during class or in the common room. Other then that, he had decided to avoid me. Of course. He was Draco Malfoy.

I mean, what did I expect?

The Great Hall was bustling with the sound of excitement, for us six years were all going to Hogsmeade.

It was a brisk, October day. I stepped outside onto the frosty, crunchy ground with Izzy and Blaise. Asher was nowhere to be seen.

We walked to the village together, talking and laughing, not a worry in sight. I smiled to myself. These were the moments that I so longed for in the summer, as I sat alone at my gigantic manor.

The cold, fall air hit my face as I strolled around. Falling leaves were everywhere, and lit pumpkins hovered a few feet above our heads.

Just then, Asher came up from behind and picked up Izzy, hugging her tightly.

"Merlin's beard Ashy, you scared me!" she said through giggles.

"Ugh, let's go Blaise, I've had enough of their cheesiness," I dragged Blaise into Honeydukes.

The sweet aroma of sweets filled my nose. I took a deep breath and grinned. Honeydukes was my absolute favorite shop in all of the village.

I grabbed a chocolate frog and made my way through the small, crammed shop. Soon, my arms were filled with all types of candies imaginable.

I walked up to the counter, Blaise at my side. I reached in my pocket for some money, but-

"No, lemme get it," Blaise said, rummaging around in his coat. He pulled out a sack of galleons and handed them to the cashier, who gave us a plumped-face smile as we left.

"Thanks, Blaise," I said happily. I put my arm around his shoulder.

"Anything for you, gorgeous," he said, laughing.

"Every time," I giggled, smacking his chest.

We continued to walk, until a few hours later.

"Hey, I could really go for a butter beer right about now," Blaise stated.

"Okay," I said, and he pulled my arm into the Three Broomsticks. "Two butterbeers," he said, smacking two knuts on the wooden countertop.

We sat down at a small table right near the window. The warmth of the butter beer spread through my whole body as I sipped it joyfully.

"So, what's up with you and Dray?" Blaise snickered.

"What the fuck are you talking about?" I snapped back.

"Oh, you know what I'm talking about," he said.

"Yea we've had exactly one conversation this year, so actually I don't know what you're talking about," I said, rolling my eyes.

"Aww. That sucks you know. He really fancies you, Anne. He always has. I see the way he looks at you. And in 4th year when you went to the Ball with Ash, he was pissed," he said, smirking.

"What are you playing at?" I asked, straightening up.

"I'm just saying, you two would be good together," he laughed, throwing his hands up defensively.

"Well, I'm saying we wouldn't be. End of conversation," I said sassily. "So who've you been shagging?" I asked, trying to change the topic.

"Ooo. Surprisingly nobody yet. I know what you're thinking. How is that even possible?" he said, closing his eyes and smiling in a self-obsessed way.
