Summer was looking at the night sky with her beautiful silver eyes on her porch, and she let out a sigh. 'How long will it be before they find my daughter?' was all she could think about. Summer left the Jedi Order because she didn't believe in their way, and now she had her own happy family. She frowns as she looks around, she knew that both the Sith and the Jedi would love to recruit her little girl into their disgusting groups. Just then a hand went onto her shoulder she quickly turned her head only to see it was her husband TaiYang.

"What is wrong?" He was concerned about Summer for she seemed to be on edge ever since their second daughter Ruby was born.

"It is nothing, I just was thinking about what the future will hold." She could tell that Taiyang didn't believe anything that she said, but he wouldn't push her, to tell the truth.

"Okay... But remember I am always there for you." He walks into the house and screams to himself in his mind, 'Why can't you just confront Summer about her lies, it could be very important relating to our daughters' safety! She isn't just one, to tell the truth, if she thinks our family will panic, after all, the grim would come after us...'

(Summer) "This makes no sense. How could Ruby be force sensitive? Everyone born on Remnant can't use the force," she whispered to herself. 'I started my family here because I thought my kids won't be born with this curse of an ability! Jedi who come here to have kids never pass down their force abilities to their kids nor has any force user been born on this planet. It was as if this world was preventing people from having these abilities, but when her baby was born it was as if it made her extra-strong in the force!' she thought to herself as tears dripped down her face.

"Mommy, what is wrong? DID SOMEONE HURT YOU?!?! I will punch them until they apologize!" It was Summer's adopted daughter Yang, but Summer didn't treat her any differently for not being her own flesh and blood because to her Yang was just her daughter, PERIOD.

"No one hurt me! I just was thinking of what the future could hold," she said this as she wiped tears from her face. "Come on it's your bedtime lets go inside." Summer now had a small smile on her face.

(THE NEXT DAY)

In the morning, Summer started dismantling her lightsaber, since she wanted to get rid of all obvious ties she had with the Jedi Order like a common Jedi weapon. She put the only piece that she wouldn't be repurposing, a pontite crystal, in a box that she marked with her rose emblem and buried the box under the ground to symbolize that the part that of her that was a Jedi was dead. The only reason she didn't destroy the crystal was that it would be like erasing the thing that was many times the thing between her and death.Over an hour after Summer finished getting rid of her Jedi weapon, she was sent a call by Professor Ozpin. Ozpin was her old friend who was in charge of Beacon Academy a school which taught people to become huntresses and hunters to fight creature of darkness known as the grimm.

"Hello, Summer. I just learned about a grimm pack in a forest near a town on the main continent of Vale. They are paying quite a bit of money to get rid of it, and well you are the only person available." Ozpin said briefly.

"I understand, can you send me the exact location?" Summer responded

"I sent to your scroll, it should only take you a few hours to get there," Ozpin said in a cheery tone.

(AT THE LOCATION)

Summer started killing the grimm, and after she was done she sat on a rock to think about her problems. 'Remnant may be in a place that is between universes or something like that, but my daughter's force abilities are so dammed strong that someone could pick up her ability. I thought that living here would hide my force ability and prevent my kids from using the force, but I was wrong! What is next? Will they find my daughter?' she thought to herself, but she was distracted and didn't expect what was going to happen next.

Summer felt a pain in her chest as she tilted her head down, and her silver eyes saw a blade impaling her. She weakly turned her head to see a woman in a mask behind her. 'DAM IT!' She thought to herself, 'THAT WAS A ROOKIE MISTAKE HOW COULDN'T I HAVE SEEN IT COMING USING THE FORCE?' Summer slowly turned her head looking behind her and recognized the lady who was going to be her killer.

"Raven, is that you?" she said in a weak tone.

"Summer?" Raven replied horrified. Raven was once one of Summer's closest friends before Raven disappeared to lead her tribe. Summer was wearing a white cloak that had a hood covering her red, almost black hair, and other distinct features that Raven would've been able to recognize. Raven only thought that the fighter was a threat to her tribe (because it was full of bandits and she doesn't want people to hunt her people because they are "evil" people).

Raven pulled her sword out of Summer's chest and held the poor woman in her arms. Summer coughed out blood, and she could only watch as her friend died. When Summer took her last breath Raven screamed at herself, and she gently placed the corpse on the forest floor. Raven rushed away full of guilt because of what she had done. Summer aways was an upbeat person with a sweet personality and she was also the person Raven could rely on, a person who wouldn't backstab her. She made a mistake and took away the only person that treated her with respect not because they feared her, but because they were equals.
