A Jeweled Rose In Clone Wars

Ruby was just sitting on the floor with her hood on playing with her necklace made from a very pretty crystal. It came from a box in the ground before, and the reason why she found it was because she sensed it, or at least she thought that. The box had her mother's rose symbol that Ruby now used for herself, so she assumed it belonged to her mom once.

Just then two Jedi walked into the room and they were shocked at her force sensitivity. The older one called Obi-Wan Kenobi stepped forward and the teenage girl just looked at him. His eyes turned to her necklace, a simple silver wired necklace with an extremely rare crystal.

'How did she get a pontite crystal? Those are hard to find and many Jedi wished they had it.' Obi-Wan thought to himself. "So I heard you stopped a misunderstanding?" he asked Ruby.

 " It wasn't a misunderstanding, that would mean that an assumption was made by the soldiers, not an order made by a cruel general," Ruby replied as she stood up.

Obi-Wan was impressed by how she answered it and so was Anakin. "Rex told me you don't know why you are here. He also mentioned that you were from a planet called Remnant. Could you tell me more about this?" Obi-Wan said interested in her story.

 "My school called Beacon was getting attacked and I was trying to get to my friend to help her fight, but I was too late. I saw my friend get killed and everything just turned to white, and I ended up here..." Ruby said on the verge of tears. 'Pyrrha was gone thanks to Cinder... Cinder... THAT EVIL BACKSTABBING LIAR.' Ruby thought.

 "Wait, let me get this straight. A flash of light brought you here?" Anakin asked in confusion. All he got was a shrug from the girl. He noticed her necklace was for some reason strong in the force and connected to her.

 "Where did you get that necklace?" Obi-Wan asked.

 "It was buried under the ground in a box with my mom's symbol. My dad mentioned that he has only seen it once before in one of her weapons." Ruby stated.

 The two Jedi looked at each other and asked to be excused for a minute. They both knew that there was something more important about the crystal that Ruby didn't know about.

"Why is the crystal so strong in the force?" Anakin asked, "It isn't even a kyber crystal."

 "It is worth a lot more than a kyber crystal Anakin. It is a pontite crystal after all," Obi-Wan replied.

 "You mean one of those rare crystals that Jedi wish they had?" Anakin asked.

 "Yes. And she mentioned that her mom used it in a weapon. Sith don't use that kind of crystal only Jedi do..." Obi-Wan mentioned, "Do you think?" Anakin didn't answer the question, and they walked back into the room where Ruby was standing this time with her hood off.

The two Jedi looked at one another in shock. The girl looked so much like Jedi Master Summer Rose who left the order quite a while ago. She was always a kind and calm woman who fought for what she believed in, and she didn't believe in the war they were fighting so she left.

 "Who was your mother?" Obi-Wan asked.

 "Her name was Summer Rose. Why?" Ruby replied. 'Why would they want to know about her mom?' Ruby thought.

 "She was one of our former colleagues," Obi-Wan said. He noticed the girl tried to avoid this, so he changed the topic. "Do you know what the force is?" He demonstrated this by lifting a chair with the force.

'So what I was doing wasn't my part of my semblance, and that makes sense since my semblance is turning into petals not levitation.' Ruby thought. "Yes, I do know what it is," Ruby said. This was kind of getting awkward, and luckly Rex came in to inform Anakin about a signal.

"General we picked up a distress signal from a Republic ship," Rex said, "They are being attacked by a Separatist ship under the command of General Grievous."

"Okay tell them we are on our way," Anakin told Rex, "You coming?" He said looking at Ruby.

"No. I don't know your names," Ruby replied.

"Okay My name is Anakin Skywalker and this is Obi-Wan Kenobi," Anakin said, she didn't say anything like she needed more than their names.

"Anakin, she is obviously suspicious of us do you think only saying our names is going to chan-" Obi-Wan was saying as he was cut off.

"I thought you were coming," Ruby said as she was already walking out of the room.

"Okay now that everything is solved about who is going, let's go," Anakin said smiling as he watched his former master who was obviously confused.

(ON A BATTLESHIP)

'I am on a spaceship!' Ruby thought she was so excited that she was flying in space. She was just alone in one of the hallways looking at everything, and then she saw another person. The person waxed at her and Ruby replied to this with a hello. "Hello there," Ruby said.

"Hi, you must be the new recruit, my name is Ahsoka Tano. What is your name?" Ashoka said.

"I wouldn't call myself a recruit, but I am helping out. Anyway, it is Ruby Rose." Ruby replied.

"Well look who made a friend," Ashoka turned around to see Anakin behind her. "We are going to exit hyperspace soon. We are going to bord General Grievous's ship, and the clones will provide us cover in their space fighters as we slip onto the ship in our own fighter. Also Ruby is coming with us," Anakin finished.

"Do you have a weapon?" Ashoka asked, "We could get you a blaster from the armory if you don't."

"I do have a weapon," Ruby showed them her boxed up, Crescent Rose. "It is a little too close corners to show you it in its true form but yeah, here it is."

"We better get to our fighters before the party starts without us," Anakin said and both of the girls nodded.
