"What kind of bullets travel that fast?" Anakin asked, he never heard of such things.

"Well, mine for example," Ruby said as she grabbed Cresent Rose and shown the speed of her bullet by shooting a target, "How do you plan on blocking that?"

"I do not know... Luckily the droids don't use those bullets or we would've lost the wars years ago," Anakin replied.

"Also any chance you can tell us why a minor could get their hands on bullets like that?" Obi-Wan said.

"Since it is very common in shops, as long as you are a student in a combat school, you will be legally allowed to get this if you can show a school ID," Ruby stated. 'I guess stores here don't sell bullets like candy to certain people, who would have thought?' Ruby thought.

"Um... Well, it is a good thing you aren't on the Separatists' side," Ahsoka said. 'What kind of government just allows people to sell this stuff,' she imagined every person holding a weapon where Ruby came from.

They heard on the loudspeakers that they were above Coruscant, and they went to a hanger to catch a ship to the Jedi temple. When the ship was getting closer to the landing pad, Ruby looked at the window to see the temple, it was huge indeed but was very simple in design, unlike Beacon Academy. Ruby could feel lots of living things in the temple with similar abilities to her's, and this made her worried. Ruby was an introvert, so naturally, she was very nervous about meeting the people in charge there.

The ship landed and they all went out and walked into the temple. The temple interior was way more detailed than the exterior, to say the least, but Ruby felt uneasy. She had felt this way since they came into the atmosphere, and it seemed like they were right above something... evil. Maybe it was just her nervousness, or maybe, just maybe, it was far more sinister. Everyone but Ahsoka, who wasn't invited to the meeting, took the elevator up to the Jedi Council room to meet with the Jedi masters.

"Welcome, Ruby Rose, to the Jedi Temple," Mace Windu said as they walked through the doors.

"Hello, but pardon me, who may you all be?" Ruby asked as Obi-Wan took a seat. She listened to Mace Windu as he listed all the Jedi Masters' names.

"You know of the force right?" Windu asked and Ruby replied with a quick yes. "Did your mother teach you anything or not?"

"Interrogation, this is not," Yoda said to Windu as they saw Ruby's face find turn dark. 

"Thus Kindly, I Scatter..." Ruby said.

 "What does that mean? Windu demanded.

"Need another hint, those words are written on her grave," Ruby said, "She died twelve years ago, before she herself could teach me anything."

 "What do you mean by 'she herself could teach you'?" Plo Koon asked.

 "My mom left me recorded lessons to teach me how to use my abilities just in case she died," Ruby said.

 All the Masters looked at each other. They sensed sadness from her, but at the same time happiness. 'How could a girl be happy about the death of her own mom?' was in the minds of the council. Of course Made Windy was the first to speak up about this.

 "You are sad I can't deny your dead Mom, but at the same time, you are happy... Why?" he asked.

"I am sad that my mom is gone, but I am glad that I got the chance to know her  and that I am her daughter," Ruby said smiling, "If I only feel sad about her death what is the point of even remembering her?"

Obi-Wan was shocked at this answer and he noticed the rest of the council was, too. He didn't know the hyperactive girl has this side to her, and he was curious about how she would answer to two certain questions. "If you could protect the people you love and care about would you hurt or kill innocents?" Obi-Wan asked the girl.

 "No. The people I care about sworn that they will fight and even die if it comes to that to protect the innocent. I have made the exact same pledge and we all know the risks," Ruby said, "I would become the monster that my friends and family fought so hard against."

"Would you do it to bring your mom back?" Obi-Wan said.

 "That is one way of disrespecting my mom," Ruby said, "She died doing what she loved, protecting people. She would not except a life made from others' deaths."

 "Art least she has the mindset of someone who could be helpful to the order and can deal with loss," Obi-Wan said, he was at a loss for words. 'Well, if we didn't think she was Summer's daughter, I think this of enough proof.' Obi-Wan thought, he looked at Anakin, 'I wish he was a little bit more like that.'

"So how did you manage to land a hit on General Grievous?" Windu asked.

"He didn't expect my weapon to transform into a scythe," Ruby said, "If he did he may have won instead of running away." She watched as the council nodded in agreement.

 "A trial go through you will to become a Padawan if you wish," Yoda said.

"What exactly is a Padawan?" Ruby asked.

"It is a Jedi apprentice, and they are assigned to Jedi to learn," Obi-Wan stated.

"Okay," Ruby said, "Where do I begin?"

 "Follow me," Shaak Ti said, Ruby, nodded and followed her into the elevator.

"We have a mission for you and Obi-Wan," Windu said, "We have been informed that the people Kiros are being invaded by the Separatists and that they surrendered and are being held hostage by slavers." Anakin made a disgusted face when he heard that there were slavers, but Mace Windu continued anyway, "We need to rescue these people." The two Jedi nodded and walked off to their ships.
