"You're going in... alone?"
The various Huntsman and Huntress gathered in the camps of Vale's established dead zone. What was once a district bustling with life and activity, now donned an aura of fear, sorrow, and uncertainty. Ever since the fall of the kingdom of Vale, creatures of Grimm have driven out the people, and claimed a kingdom unrightfully theirs as their own. With an uncrowned king lurking deep in its heart, death was a certainty to those who dare try and reclaim their home.
Some people, however, don't care for risks and dangers. Because there is always an understanding of the role and importance in trailblazing a light through the dark in spite of it all anyway.
"Yeah, yeah." Confirmed (Y/N), with a bold silver look to his Huntsmen allies. His arms crossed over his chest armour. "Momentarily at least. Although none of you guys are gonna be slacking off I hope, or I might be throwing my life away for nothing."
The surrounding nameless Huntsmen each let off a brief gulp of awkwardness. "We'll uhh... We'll try not to." One of them reassured (Y/N), obviously nervous of the whole situation. "But... you're not gonna die, right?"
Cynically, (Y/N) snorted, holding back a laugh. "I don't know, I'd have the same odds as you guys."
That did not reassure everyone in the slightest. However, two of the Huntsmen opposite to (Y/N) suddenly had a pair of arms go around the back of their necks by a new arrival. "He's just trying to scare you lot!" A bold female voice called out, surprising everyone. "(Y/N) won't be dying on our watch." Reminded the leader of team CFVY, Coco Adel.
"That is the plan like you said, right?" She spoke with a stern tone towards the (H/C) haired boy, who dropped his coy and joking state into a more focused one. "Basically, yeah." (Y/N) confirmed. "Once I head into the heart of Vale alone, everyone else who's capable will follow me shortly afterwards, circle around my flanks while sweeping all the Grimm in town, before converging on my position. Meanwhile..."
With a deep breath, (Y/N) once again declared his mission. "I alone will hold off the Angeloss Grimm."
It was a plan told to the Huntsman moments ago, but it was still believed to be a death sentence to enact, even with Atlas's self promising champion declaring otherwise.
"If all goes well, everyone who converges to my position will have the luxury of killing off the boogeyman I'll be weakening and chipping away at beforehand." (Y/N) reassured. But still with conflicting looks.
"But this Grimm creature isn't like anything else in history..." A Huntsman spoke anxiously. "It... thinks and adapts unlike anything else, and its causality rate is off the charts after only a couple months."
"Even if you weaken it, we won't have that big of a chance of finishing it off, will we?"
"If this fails, Remnant will never have the chance to reclaim this Kingdom ever again!"
Discourse and fear quickly began spreading again between Huntsman, even to the less vocal ones bearing looks of concern. And as the crowd of Huntsmen surrounding (Y/N) audibly dreaded the plan about to be carried, the dual aura'd boy's mind began racing.
"These guys..." (Y/N)'s mind raced. "...Are completely unbearable. Not even the insurance of a weakened final boss appeals to them. Understandable, but..."
His silver eyes looked across the stressing out crowd, darting between the bickering and panicking Huntsmen as he tried thinking of a solution. (Y/N)'s eyes raced from the stressed out Coco, to the various Huntsman and Huntresses beyond the surrounding crowd, to his Atlas forged team, and everyone else present to help free Vale.
