A/N Immediately I ran into a problem with writing this chapter. Due to placing (Y/N) on Team JNPR, it's pretty hard to write about episodes that only focus on Team RWBY, outside of only two lines from Jaune. However I got ideas for future chapters involving just RWBY planned out, but not both 'The Badge and the Burden' episodes. So I'm skipping to the episode 'Jaunedice' so the chapter could be more than 300 words. With that out of the way, Onwards to Victory!
(Y/N) POV
Weapons were clashing. Sweat was dripping. Blood was... not falling... yet. You and your Team, alongside Team RWBY, were in Professor Goodwitches class for combat training. You were 100% certain this was one of the main attractions of any Huntsman Academy. Whilst it's a great sight most of the time, not today. Your leader Jaune was facing off against the big bad brute next door, Cardin. And he's getting his ass kicked.
Jaune rushes towards Cardin in a blind rage, only to miss the opening overhead strike. He then gets whacked over the head by Cardin's mace, sending him backwards and onto the ground. He gets up and goes for another overhead strike. This time his sword is blocked and he slowly gets pushed back.
Cardin: This is the part where you lose.
Jaune: Over my dead- *grunts*
Jaune just got kneed in the gut sending him to the ground. The ape is then about to slam his weapon onto Jaune until the buzzer goes off, signalling the end of the match.
Glynda: Cardin, that's enough. *to everyone* Students, as you can see Mr Arc's aura has now dropped into the red. In a tournament style duel, this will indicate that Jaune is no longer fit for battle and that the official may call the match. *to Jaune* Mr Arc, it's been weeks now. Please try to refer to your scroll during combat. Gauging your aura will help you to decide when it is appropriate to attack, or when it's better to move to a more... defensive strategy. We wouldn't want you to be gobbled up by a Beowolf, now would we.
Cardin: Speak for yourself...
(Y/N): *sigh* that attitude is going to come back and bite him soon enough.
Nora: Oh I will make sure it will be by my hand! Right Pyrrha?
You and Nora both look at Pyrrha who appears to be looking at Jaune in empathy.
Nora: Pyrrha~ Remnant to Pyrrha~
(Y/N): Nora, Bad timing. Look Pyrrha, I know Cardin is a real dickhead but Jaune will be fine. He has all of us behind him.
Pyrrha: It's a bit more than that...
(Y/N): Right... Well I'd still kick Cardins ass in Jaune's name.
Glynda: Students, we have time for one more match. Cardin. As your aura remained untouched last fight, care to fight again?
Cardin: *chuckles* will do.
Nora: *starts shaking you violently* (Y/N) It's time! The time for revenge is upon us!
(Y/N): Nora! Stop! *she stops shaking you* Ok I'll go. *to Glynda* Professor. I volunteer!
Glynda: Very well. Cardin, do you accept?
Cardin: Of course.
You then get up to go to the change rooms. As Jaune passes you, you grab his shoulder.
(Y/N): Consider this payback in your name.
He lightly smiles at you before joining his team and team RWBY.
