Nobodies POV
A Bullhead is flying over a field of Grimm and a sky of blood. It then approaches a Grimm themed castle as it begins to set down. As the doors opened, Hazel stepped out with Tyrian over his shoulder. The two are then approached by Watts.
Watts: Oh my. A trained killer bested by a small boy. Our lady will not be pleased about this, will she?
Hazel: Shut it.
He then storms into the castle. Watts then makes a throat slitting gesture before following him. Hazel then entered the hall with Salem staring out the window on the opposite side of the room.
Salem: I take it that he failed, didn't he?
Hazel: I'm afraid so.
She sighs as she turns around to look Hazel dead in the eyes.
Salem: Tell me, Hazel. What did you see when you arrived?
Hazel: When I arrived, Summers champion was nowhere to be found. It was only Tyrian in his weak state present.
Salem: Are you certain?
Hazel: Yes.
Salem: hmmm... Watts!
On cue, Watts quickly entered the hall.
Salem: Patch up Tyrian and inform him to see me immediately after he wakes. We need to discuss his successful mission.
Watts: Of course... Eh... Successful? (Y/N) bested Tyrian and escaped. That sounds like the polar opposite of successful.
Salem: Perhaps... But in his defeat, we learn. We grow. This all shows what our target is capable of. And he and Summer will fall when the time comes.
Watts: I see...
He then takes Tyrians limp body out of the room.
Salem: *sigh* Why did you spare him, Hazel?
Hazel: I beg your pardon?
Salem: You had every chance to finish (Y/N) off, yet you let him off with a warning?
Hazel: I... *sigh* ...he was roped into this war thanks to Summer. Even so, she was desperate to escape. Can you really blame them? I was hoping for a more peaceful approach.
Salem: Hazel... War is inevitable. It is a core function within humanity. Turning on each other when you have no one but yourself to blame. That's why Ozpin highlights US as the bad guys, to hide his shame of what he's done. He'll send his guardians time and time again, merely hoping this time will be different. *sigh* He's desperate. And now he's found his trump card. And he'll keep playing it until it's discarded.
Hazel: It's... not that simple...
Salem: I'm aware. He's the grandchild of your uncle last I checked, correct?
Hazel: ... yes.
Salem: Hmmm... Well it needs to be put behind. He's someone who will spark hope and ignite a fire of inspiration. And I'm someone who will extinguish that flame. So when the time comes, you must put your shared blood aside and spill his. Do you understand?
Hazel: *sigh* I do.
She then turns back around and looks out the window again.
Salem: Good. You may leave.
Hazel then walks out of the hall and into the corridors, with nothing but fear on his mind that one of his last few relatives will die by his hands.
Meanwhile at Beacon
(Y/N) POVSummer: You sure you're up for this?
(Y/N): Summer, it's life or death. I have to do this...
