|| Christmas At The Clearwater's ||

The weather was freezing cold, not to mention the snow falling heavily from the sky. Lorelie stood in front of a rather huge manor, she rang the doorbell once more, until a lady finally opened the door.

"Uhm hi, is this the Clearwater's?" Lorelie asked.

"Oh yes, yes we are. You must be Lorelie, come on in!" the lady smiled widely.

Lorelie gladly stepped inside, she saw a big cozy yet fancy place. Katherine was never poor, in fact she's actually more on the filthy rich side of the pureblood family line.

"I hope you don't mind that I brought my owl with me" Lorelie chuckled nervously.

"Oh no worries, dear. It's all good" the woman smiled at her.

"Katherine, dear! Lorelie's here!" she called out, footsteps were heard from upstairs.

"Coming, mom!" Katherine yelled back.

Lorelie sat on the living room couch, warming her body in front of the fireplace. Katherine's mom, Axela, offered her some tea which she gladly took.

"Thank you, Mrs Clearwater" she thanked the lady politely.

"No need to call me that, Axela is fine, dear" Axela said as the girl nods.

"Lorelie!" a voice said from behind her.

The slytherin girl turned around to reveal her bestfriend standing there, she jumped up from the couch to go hug her bestfriend. Once they had pulled away from each other, they sat back down on the couch.

"So, mom. This is Lorelie Lynch"

"N-nice to meet you, L-Lorelie" her mother said as she tears up.

"M-Mrs Clearwater, are you alright?" Lorelie said concerned.

"Mom, why are you crying?" Katherine added in confusion.

"N-no worries, dear. Go show Lorelie your room"

Katherine nodded and showed Lorelie upstairs, the three was going to sleep in Katherine's room. Her parents had pulled out two new beds for Lorelie and Victoria, while Katherine will be sleeping in her own bed.

The two slytherin girls entered Katherine's bedroom, as Lorelie stared in 'awe' at how huge her room was. Her bed was queen sized, and across from it were two XL sized bed for Lorelie and Victoria.

"That was odd, why was your mom crying?" Lorelie raised an eyebrow.

"I don't know, she's never cried over meeting someone before" Katherine sighs.

The two spent half an hour on Katherine's room, just talking and joking around, when their ravenclaw bestfriend finally arrived.

"Guess whose here!" Victoria exclaimed as she entered Katherine's room, earning a huge hug from both girls.

"Why were you so late?" Katherine scoffs jokingly.

"Sorry, Luna got sightracted on the way, she saw a bunch of nargles by the lake and stopped on the way here" Victoria laughed.
