It was the start August. The boy who lived was clutching the daily prophet on his hands, as he took a sip of his coffee. He liked spending time at the muggle Café and riding trains, but he surely couldn't wait to go back home to Hogwarts to start his sixth year.
"Would you put that down for a second, you've been reading it ever since your coffee got here"
Harry pulled the newspaper away from his eyes and looked at the girl sitting in front of him. He gave her a warm smile and a little chuckle before nodding his head and putting the paper away.
"Sorry, didn't mean to ignore you" he grabbed the girls hand and rubbed circles around it.
"How's mum and dad?"
"Been better," she answered with a sigh.
"They know about the whole 'me almost dying' situation last year, they obviously know about this" she whispered as she points to the back of her neck.
"They even said that I shouldn't come back to Hogwarts this year"
"What?" Harry gulped.
"Which is not true, of course. I'm still going. Hogwarts is my home, I'd do anything to go back there even if it's dangerous" she chuckled.
"Lorelie-"
"I'm going. No one can stop me" she spat.
The boy went quiet and looked at her.
"How's your memory?" he finally decided to ask.
"It comes and it goes. Sometimes I remember small bits of the future, but it's just often blank, like the whole futures gone" she sighs and fiddled with her fingers.
A brown afro haired waitress approached their table and smiled towards Harry. Lorelie immediately noticed. She raised an eyebrow and scoffed lightly.
"Funny that paper of yours. Could've sworn I saw one of the pictures move" the waitress said to Harry as she pointed towards the daily prophet.
"Really" Harry chuckled nervously.
"Well I was a bit tired and tipsy, was probably seeing things" she smiled before walking away.
"Hey, I'm getting off in a few minutes, we could maybe-" she said.
"Excuse me," Lorelie stood up and cuts off her words.
"Do you not see me or what? He's clearly here with me, I'm his girlfriend"
The waitress stood not knowing what to say or do. She was mildly embarrassed. Harry shook his head lightly and chuckled, he stood and rubbed Lorelie's shoulder lightly.
"Baby, it's okay" he tried to calm her down.
"She's lucky this is a muggle Café" she mumbled so only Harry could hear.
Harry giggled and kissed her lips softly. The waitress had gone away, knowing Harry already has a girlfriend.
"Anyway, I've been meaning to give you back something" the boy said, Lorelie raised an eyebrow.
