|| The Second Task ||

"He's such an arse! I couldn't even look at him this morning" Hermione said in frustration.

It was the morning after the Yule Ball, everybody was quite tired. But luckily since its Christmas break and not to mention it's Christmas day, they have no classes to attend too.

Lorelie, Katherine, Victoria, and Hermione were having breakfast at the ravenclaw table. Hermione was letting the three know about her frustration, how Ron was being a complete arse towards her.

"Let it go Hermione, you know he's an idiot. Besides today is Christmas! You need to let loose a little bit" Victoria said trying to calm the gryffindor girl down.

Meanwhile Lorelie notices something a bit odd about her bestfriend Katherine, her tie. Her slytherin tie that she's been wearing the whole morning seems a bit...different.

"Kath, whose tie is that?" Lorelie said making Victoria and Hermione turn to her.

"W-what are you talking about? It's my tie of course" Katherine panicked.

"No it's not. Your tie has a stain on it, a chocolate stain remember? You spilled chocolate syrup all over yourself in the first week at Hogwarts" Lorelie said as she examines the tie.

She was right, it wasn't Katherine's tie. Katherine hated the fact that Lorelie pays attention to every little detail, she hoped Lorelie wouldn't find out whose tie it really is.

"I washed it" Katherine said trying to cover the fact that it's not her tie.

"Rubbish, even I don't believe that" Victoria said remembering that Katherine is a lazy arse.

Lorelie smirked, she knew it. Malfoy brought Katherine to his room last night, it's his tie.

"Say Kath, where were you last night? Preferably after the ball?" Lorelie smirked.

Both Victoria and Hermione looks at her in confusion. Katherine begin to panic, she fiddled with his tie wanting to take it off.

"I knew it. It's his tie isn't it" Lorelie once again smirked at her making her blush.

"Will you tell us what's going on?" Hermione asked Lorelie.

Lorelie chuckles lightly before explaining her experience last night, how she entered the slytherin common room and saw all the boys sitting there. How Daphne told her that Draco brought a girl inside, and that girl happens to be Katherine.

"Holy cricket" Hermione gasped.

"You were with Malfoy?!" Victoria said in disbelief. 

"Y-you cant prove that" Katherine denied.

Lorelie turns her head to see Draco sitting at the slytherin table with Blaise and Pansy. She smiled cheekily.

"Oh but I can-" Lorelie said as she stands up from the ravenclaw table.

"Listen in" she said to Hermione and Victoria as she approaches the slytherin table.

Lorelie walks slowly to the slytherin table, she was about to prove it once and for all. Leaving Katherine's heart beating faster than ever.
