|| The Bitter Truth ||

Lorelie sighs as she walks to the headmaster's office, she has fixed herself up. Her eyes are still visibly swollen, but she wasn't sad anymore. She was in fact very happy that the love of her life had woken up.

She knocked on the door and it opened by itself, she peeked inside to see both her bestfriends already standing there waiting for her, along with the headmaster, and the head of gryffindor and slytherin house. She smiles nervously and enters the office.

"Miss Lynch, we've been waiting for you" Dumbledore smiled.

"You wanted to tell us something, professor?" Lorelie asked.

Dumbledore nodded, three chairs pulled itself towards the girls. Making them sit down in front of the headmaster's desk.

"I've brought you here because I wanted you three to know the truth" he started off.

"What truth, professor?" Katherine asked.

Dumbledore turns his head to Mcgonagall and Snape, they gave him a simple nod.

"About the scar, and your parents" he sighed.

"Years ago Lord Voldemort summoned himself wanting to rule the wizarding world, he killed a lot of innocent people. Including Harry's parents-"

"James and Lily" Lorelie said quietly making Dumbledore nod.

"You three are familiar of the story on how Harry escaped with nothing but a scar-" he continued, the girls nodded.

"But I must tell you, your scars are different from his. Very different. His scar is given because Lord Voldemort tried to kill him, but he couldn't. But your scars-" he said as he points to the three.

"Are given intentionally. Lord Voldemort himself put that scar on the back of your necks, when you three were very little" Dumbledore said.

The girls looked at each other in confusion, why would Voldemort put a scar on them. What was the purpose.

"Why did he do that, professor?" Victoria asked.

"I'm afraid the purpose is so he can control you, only you three"

"C-control us? But why would Lord Voldemort want to control us?" Lorelie asks in confusion.

"Sadly we do not have any information on that, Miss Lynch. We just thought we would tell you so you three could be careful. Lord Voldemort can enter your minds and control you anytime" Mcgonagall answered as she stands beside the headmaster.

"Does that mean we're dangerous? I mean, Lord Voldemort could control us to kill anyone-"

"Yes, that is true. But know this, you can deny him to enter your mind. Forbid him from going anywhere near your minds" Dumbledore said cutting Katherine's words.

"Why us? Out of all of people" Lorelie said quietly.

"We have a theory that The Dark Lord picked people out of the blue, but you three were just unlucky" Snape said in his distinctive voice.
