I woke up at 10 to an empty bed. Although I knew he was leaving, it still made me sad to wake up without him. I rolled over to see a note with my name on it.
" My darling fianceé, I will be at work till 7 tonight but you will spend the day at the range. My old friend Angie will pick you up at 3 to take you to the range. Don't forget your gun!! Ok darling I love you💖

I blushed at the note and went to get breakfast. After a shower I got dressed in jeans and darrens hoodie. By then it was noon and I had time to spare. And what do I do when I'm bored?

I called him and he answered within two rings.
" sweetheart? What's wrong?!"
" I miss you daddy"

" honey, I'm working. I'll see you tonight ok?"

After we hung up, I heard the doorbell ring.
I went to open it and saw a tall girl.

" Are you tori?" she asked. " yes, " she smiled and stuck out her hand. " I'm Angie! I'm here to take you to the range and teach you how to use a gun."
I nodded and went to grab my stuff before following her. Once in the car she spotted my purple gun.
" woah cool gun!" I laughed and buckled my seat belt. " thanks"
The drive there was just filled with small talk and getting to know each other. The building we entered was large and made of brick with glass doors and windows.
Inside I could see people shooting at a wall. And when we walked in the sound of gunfire was overwhelming. Once checked in, she brought me to an area blocked off my clear plastic separating the different booths.
In front of me was the shape of a human with targets in their chest and head. Angie handed me a pair of ear muffs and handed me my gun.
" this is safety off ok? It has 10 rounds in it so you get a few shots in before I help you." I nodded and. Lined up my shot before hearing a snorting laugh next to me.
" yeah you're gonna need it!" I turned to see that bitch Mackenzie from the ball.
She smirked at me then shot the mannequin in the chest and arm several times.
This bitch.
I smiled at her and proceed to shoot my dummy in the head 10 times.
Shocked at myself I laughed with Angie. Makenzie scoffed and walked away while Angie and I celebrated.
" YOU'RE A NATURAL!" she squealed " you really showed that bitch!"
Mackenzie's POV:
That bitch!
I'll show her.
I walked to my car before getting in and checking my lip gloss. I went to the range to practice shooting that bitch but she just HAD to show up!
Well looks like I will be paying Darren a little visit at the office...
