walking outside your home, you saw jean and lisa, waiting in their car (that they actually got legally).

lisa rolled down her window, "nice to see you [firstname]! hurry up and get in the car, we're almost late!"

you rushed in, hopping into the backseat, "where are we even going anyways?" you asked, because you genuinely didn't know. jean just said she was picking you up.

"lumine said that we were going to a holiday festival," jean answered, looking back from the wheel for a second, "I'm not sure how she managed to convince diluc, but oh well."

"probably blackmail," lisa answered, popping some bubblegum into her mouth, "lumine has always been good at blackmailing, that's probably how she convinces aether and diluc to do things."

you just shrugged your shoulders, plugging your headphones in and leaning back, only to bump into the window as jean hit a particularly large bump.

a while passed before jean parked outside a colourful looking park, "looks like we're here," she said as she shut the car off and opened the door.

lisa unbuckled her seatbelt and stretched, "finally," she said while yawning, "it's pretty late, I was going to fall asleep."

you got out of the car and looked around, "it's so bright around here, is this the festival?"

"no this is the local cafe," lisa said, "of course it's the festival [firstname]."

"come on," jean locked the car, "everyone's waiting for us, let's go."

"SURPRISE!" lumine barrelled into you the second you stepped into the festival, "hey lol ok let's ditch these losers."

"yes."

"no," aether deadpanned as he pulled lumine away from you, "go away smelly I wanna talk with [firstname]."

"the both of you are idiots," diluc said as he walked away from a food stand, "leave them alone and let them go with who they want."

"which! would be me," kaeya stated as he appeared suddenly, "because I'm obviously the best."

"[firstname] why don't you win the games for me? I want prizes," venti said as he popped out of nowhere.

"no stupid I'm hungry," you said monotonously, "I'm gonna go eat, byebye."

"DONT LEAVE ME HERE WITH THEM," lumine wailed, very much unhappy. "I'm coming with you."

"OK," you said while throwing an ok sign at her, walking up to a soft serve stand.

whatever was left of the day ended in a blur, just festive lights, food, crying (ONLY BECAUSE VENTI COULDNT GET A PANDA PLUSH), and everyone just having a great time.

it was nice having moments like this.
