UA Traitor (?) - finished

Part 26

Todoroki PoV

"Youg Bakugou, Young Todoroki wake up. We have news from young Midoriya." I wake up and notice that my head rests on Bakugous shoulder and his head over mine. After hearing there are news about Midoriya we both jolt awake.

"What is it? What is with Deku? Please tell me he's ok!" Bakugou asks.

"Calm down Bakugou. Well I can't say he's fine, but he's not in a life threatening situation anymore."

"What does that mean?" I ask.

"Well Midoriya is alive, but it will take time for him to wake up. He's in a coma like condition. If you want you can visit him. Do you think you can handle that?"

"Of course we can handle that." I notice Bakugou wants to look tough but he's slightly trembling. He probably is as nervous as I am.

Aizawa-Sensei just noods and walks us to Midoriyas room. Once we arrive infront of the door, he opens it and we both, Bakugou and I, stop at track. It's a small room, only enough space for one person. Midoriya lies in a white hospital bed. He's got a mask on for breath support and an IV. His armes are wrapped in bandages, from his wrist up to short under his elbows. He still looks verry pale. A blood transfusion is still going on. A monitor besides the bed shows his heart rate. He looks even mor fragile then he did before like if we touch him he could breake in a million pieces.

Slowly Bakugou and I walk to his side. I start to tear up. It's hard seeing the person you love like this. I'm afraid of touching him, so I just stand there besides him.

"Damn it! Hurry up and wake up Deku, please. I never pleaded for anything but now I am. Please wake up soon. We worry for you!" Bakugou breaks the silence and I can see he's crying. I've never seen him like this. He must really love him. I put my arm at his shoulder to give him some kind of support. He doesn't slap my arm away so it's probably ok for him. It's strange for him, but this isn't a normal situation.

At some point we took some chairs and sat down beside Midoriya. Bakugou holds Midoriyas hand and silently cries. I just sit there watching Midoriyas chest go up and down as a sign of him breathing. I'm still afraid on touching him. I hope he wakes up soon.

I jolt up awake. I didn't notice I fell asleep. I see Bakugou's head resting on Midoriyas bed, besides the unconcious body. I look at Midoriya and I almost screamed. He's awake. His eyes are open and he looks at the cieling, deep in thoughts. I start to cry again, but this time because I'm happy.

"M-Midoriya you're awake." He slowly turns his head, to look at me. My heart stoped for a second. His eyes.....they look so....so....empty and broken.

"T-Todoroki-k-kun?" His voice is weak and almost breaks from just saying my name.

"It's ok Midoriya don't speak right now. I'm glad you're awake. I thought it would take you longer to wake up. Please stay calm. I go and get the doctor. I'm right back, don't worry." I stand up and tell a nurse that Midoriya is awake and she wanted to tell a doctor. I go back into the room and wake Bakugou. I know it's never a good idea waking him up, but the doctors probably want to do some tests.

Bakugou slowly opens his eyes and suddenly turns angry. "What the F*CK ICYHOT?! WHY THE HELL DID YOU WAKE ME UP!"

"Well firt stop screaming, we're in a hospital and second Midoriya woke up and the doctors want to run some tests." His eyes widen and he looks at Midoriya. He starts tearing up, but quickly rubs his eyes.

He smiles. "You're finally awake. How are you?"

"K-Kac-chan I-I'm -...."

"It's ok Midoriya don't speak just now. The doctor will come soon. After that we can talk." And just as I said that the doctor and a nurse enter the room. The nurse escorts us out of Midoriyas room and we wait at the hallway.

After around 15 minuites they come out. "You can go inside now, but take it easy. He's still pretty weak and needs some time." the doctor tells us and we go back inside.

"Hey Midoriya, do you feel any better?"

"Why?"

"What do you mean why?" I ask

"Why did you save me? I wanted to die! I don't want to bother you anymore." He tears up and a tears leaves his eyes.

"Idiot!! Are you really asking why we f*cking saved your life Deku?! Of course because you're not a bother, never was and never will be!! We care for you idiot!!"

"In middle school you said the opposite. I always thought you would be happy if I'm gone." We both changes into a shocked expression.

"Y-You remember middle school? A-Anything else?" Bakugou asks.

"Yes. I remember everything. Maybe because the drug went out or because I was knocking on deaths door. I don't know, but I do know that everyone hates me! I'm just a bother and make the others live in fear. I don't have anywhere to go, so why did you save me? Everyone would be better without me!!" Now he's crying and sobbing while he speaks. He covers his face with his arm. "I should have died."

"ARE YOU F*CKING SERIOUS!? NOBODY WANTS YOU TO DIE ESPACIALLY NOT THE BOTH OF US. DAMN IT DEKU YOU ALWAYS HAVE A PLACE AND SOMEONE WHO CARES FOR YOU!! THE ICYHOT IDIOT AND I WE BOTH FELL IN LOVE WITH YOU, SO DON'T TELL US IT WOULD BE BETTER IF YOU HAD DIED!! WE CAN'T ALLOW YOU TO. WHAT ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO IF THE PERON WE LOVE DIES!?" Bakugou cires and I can't do anything but stare at him. He just told Midoriya his feelings, no he told him OUR feelings.

I hear a fast beeping and look up at the heart rate monitor. It got really fast. I look at Midoriya and he looks shocked. He starts breathing really fast. Nurses rush in and push us out of the room.

Some time later they told us that Midoriya had a panick attack. We caused it so they prohibited us from enter his room anytime soon again. His condition has to get better maybe then we can enter again. For now Bakugou and I go back to UA. Tomorrow we need to go to school anyways.

The others ask us what happened and how Midoriya was doing but we both ignored them. We got to our rooms. I thought a lot about what Midoriya said and what happened. After some hours of thinking about him, I once more fell asleep with some tears sliding down my face.
