Chapter 7- How To Comfort Your Girl Friend

Once you entered the classroom, it was still silent, no one dared to talk until the teacher came.

After class, you decided to sleep, you went to your dorm afterwards since you did not join any clubs.

How you wish that you have someone who will comfort you when those things happen, like how your brother comfort you...

Your phone was ringing, it was clearly said "Oikawa"

You answered your phone as you calm your mind.

Oikawa: Y/N-CHANNN HOW ARE YOU DOING IN THERE??

: fine, the same as usual...

Oikawa: WHY DIDN'T YOU CALL ME?

:oh, sorry I forgot, I was busy last week so I didn't get to talk to you, how are you guys?

Oikawa: we're good here, wanna FaceTime? I miss your face

:maybe next time, I'm kinda tired from school today, I'm exhausted...

Oikawa: oooh, I see, I see, did something bad happen?

Oikawa: he's alright, nothing to worry about, did you make some friends there?

The call ended, you sighed and flopped on your bed, doing nothing.

You heard the doorknob creating a sound.

"L/n-san" Shirabu said as he was panting.

"hmm? Shirabu-san what are you doing in here? You have practice, right?"

"I want to talk to you, if you don't mind..."

"uh, sure?"

Shirabu skipped his practice, that was his first time skipping a practice, he didn't care about his coach getting mad at him for skipping, he just wanted to clear his mind and he wanted to know what's your problem.

"I wanna know what happened earlier..." he said.

"earlier..." you mumbled as you bit your lower lip

"but it's okay if you don't want to talk about it"

"my reason for doing that was kinda sensitive, I'm having a second thought on telling you guys, I know we're friends but I don't want you guys to worry about me... Or think about me...or hate me-"

"I don't care, friends are friends so tell me if you want to, if it's traumatic, I'll find a way for you to get over it."

'he never actually care about me...'

You told him everything that happened, from your past to what happened earlier.

"I knew it, are you scared of me now? Will you avoid me now? Stop talking to me? Ignore me? Leave me? I'm a criminal-"

"no you're not, you didn't intend to do that, you didn't plan that, yes, I am speechless, I didn't expect that a happy girl like you is hiding a pain, behind your smiling mask, you're living in a nightmare"

He then hugged you and stroked your hair.

"I'll try to help you" he said that made you shock

"w-what?"

"I'll help you to create a new memory, a memory that is full of happiness, I'll try everything I can"

"Shirabu-san... You don't have to-"

"I'm your friend so shut up!"

"t-thank you..."

"Starting tomorrow, you'll come with me, you'll watch us practice, be the manager of the team if you want, talk to us everytime, eat with us, I might be a killjoy to you but I know how to get along when it comes to friends, we have a friends' hang out tomorrow, you can join us"

'Y-Y/n?!'

"bruh, you mean, butts?" you said as you laughed.

'damn, look how her mood changes, she's laughing like how she used to' Shirabu thought as he sighed.

"So you really do care about me, Shirabu-san" you teased him.

"that's none of your business"

"Tsundere"

"What about you?" look how the tables have turned.

"I'm not"

"hey I have a question..." you said

"hmm?"

"uhmmmm, why didn't you react about my period?"

"you know, 'cause some boys react like it'll kill them or something..."

"why do you think? What do you think is my answer to your question?"

"cause you're secretly a girl?" then he flicked your forehead.

"It's normal... I'm gonna be a doctor soon..."

' doctor? But why do I think there's something else, more like another reason why you didn't care, like you're used to it? You're not yet a doctor so why?'

"that's cool" you said.

"so what do we do now, you skipped practice" you added.

"I don't know, I'm gonna be dead tomorrow for skipping our practice..."

"I'm gonna die with you" you joked.

"that's not a nice joke"

"sorryyy"

"S-Shirabu-san....."

"what?"

"can I... Hug you while sleeping?"

"you mean cuddle?"

"okay"

He didn't hesitate to that, his goal that time was to make you feel better.

as you both cuddled, he kissed your forehead.
