Chapter 10- Signs

"Girlfriend?" you mumbled.

Semi told you and the others while eating in the cafeteria.

"Senpai, so you're telling me, you're telling me that those pain killers, heating pads, and those other shits belong to Hirai? And Shirabu used those to me?" you said as Semi nodded in response

"But we're not going to talk about Shirabu's reaction when he knew that I'm a girl?!"

"It's been a while since he had a girl dormmate... And of course, he'll panic because he has a girlfriend, he didn't want any misunderstandings by the time Hirai return, right? Semi?" Tendou said as Semi nodded.

"I see, no wonder why he didn't even bother, why he didn't even care about taking care of me while I was on my period..."

"So she's Shirabu-san's dormmate? Why didn't we know that?" Goshiki said out of curiosity.

"Actually, he's not hiding that Hirai's his dormmate, it's just you all are not that close to him in his first year, instead he's hiding his relationship with her and just told me since he said he trust me..." Semi said.

"So, what are you going to do? L/n-senpai?" Goshiki asked you.

"Since she's back, why not sleep in our dorm?" Tendou suggested as he looked at his dormmate, Ushijima.

"no... I'm not planning on sleeping in your rooms..."

"I'll go home..." you said.

"If that'll make you feel better then we don't have any complaints..." Semi said.

"Where's Shirabu?" Tendou whispered to Semi.

"probably in his dorm, with her..." Semi also whispered.

"I can still hear you two, please don't worry about me, I'm alright there's nothing to worry about... I'll pack my things now, I'm leaving later, see you soon guys! Thank you" you said as stood up and walked away.

'stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid heart! Why would you even fall for his friendly movements!'

You entered your dorm but you saw no one.

'better than witnessing them making out.' you thought.

You packed your things and talked to the teacher about temporarily leaving the dormitory, and also about taking a rest.

'whatever, I won't give a single fck about nii-chan'

'Now tell me, why did you kiss me if you already have a fcking girlfriend?'

You arrived at Aoba Johsai in no time.

'yo I'm back, I'm finally home'

You entered the school and headed to the gym.

"just have some kind of... Misunderstandings? I don't know... But to be honest, it kinda irritates me" you honestly said because you wouldn't dare to lie to them, especially to your brother, he would seriously hit you if you don't tell him the truth and if you'll make the situation worse or slow.

"I know why you came back," Your brother said as you looked at him with puppy eyes.

"Tell me when we get in the house, Haji-nii" you said as you sat on the bleachers, waiting for them to finish practicing.

'This is actually a good place to calm down... I missed this atmosphere, the vibes (Aoba Johsai Aoba Johsai hey!)'

Afterward, you and Iwaizumi went home, you'll talk about why you came back before the school year ends.

"So?" Iwaizumi said as he crosses his hands, looking down at you because of the height difference.

"you're suspended?" he cut you off.

In the middle of the night, you were uncontrollably shaking, and you were not feeling well, you kept mumbling "Shirabu"

Since your room and your brother's room are not that far, he could hear you.

He sneaked into your room, Iwaizumi's eyes widened as he unintentionally slapped you.

"Nii-chan what the heck is wrong with you?!" you said as you caressed your cheek.

Iwaizumi turned on the light and sighed.

"I should be the one who's asking you, what's wrong with you? You were mumbling something a while ago and you were shaking, as far as I remember it was Subaru? Basuru? Shibaru?"

"Shirabu?" you asked

"Oh yeah it's Shirabu, isn't that Shiratorizawa's setter? Is he the guy you're talking about?"

"Forget about that... I'm alright" you reassured to calm your brother as he nodded and went back to his room.

In the morning, he cooked breakfast for you but you refused to eat, you lost your appetite.

He walked towards you as he put his hand on your forehead.

"Your forehead feels like hell"

Your half-lidded eyes looked at Iwaizumi.

"Shirabobo" (charot)

"Shirabu...what are you doing in here" you mumbled as you collapsed in Iwaizumi's arms.

'She's hallucinating'

Iwaizumi wanted to bring you to the hospital but he knew that once you wake up, you'll freak out, so he just brought you back to your room.
