she looked out the slight broken window as she played and picked with the food on the glass plate given to her by hanji who fixed her morning plate as she felt holes shooting through her back
she contemplated on whether or not she she turn her head to smile, or be patient and wait for eren to come up to her and say something soon which most likely wouldn't happen at all
she sighed giving up on her food as she lost an appetite by thinking extremely to hard and not deciding to balance her thoughts, but instead decided against it making a headache form
"[name].. are you okay?" she heard hanji ask putting a delicate hand on her shoulder as levi looked up only to see [name] rubbing her temples out of pent up frustration
"headache. i'm going to go train, or something at already, see you later" she said waving them off and trying her best to shoot hanji and levi small smiles, but she dropped the act and scraped the food off of her plate and put it in the sink for it to be washed then walked out
nobody knew why she always got headaches and nobody cared either, she let it go and decided to let her deal with it herself as she struggled by doing so, but the only person nice enough to try to help her was levi and hanji
the bare minimum.
that's all she needed, the bare minimum of affection, or even the bare minimum of love to be shown to her in order to actually open up, since she was neglected as a child, it's always been like that
her mother didn't care for her, and her father never even batter an eyelid at the teenage girl even throughout her childhood- it was like that, all the time
she threw on her gear from the shed and strapped her shoes the right way and sighed looking out only to see nothing, but she was bored- what better way to release boredom by killing titans?
she saw hanji and dazai come out from the door making her turn around as dazai had a sympathetic frown on his face and hanji had an awkward smile on hers
"what?" she asked looking them dead in the eye as dazai awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck before looking at hanji and then began to speak
"we were wondering if we could go with you?" he asked trying to sound as regulars possible but honestly, she didn't buy it. not one but.
"be honest." she commanded as he began to shake at the different change of tone in her voice before hanji started trying to release words only for her to begin stuttering and babbling nonsense out of her mouth
"if you want something, say it?" she demanded and dazai lost the brains to think letting all of the words he pent up in his brain spill out of his mouth, all at once
"i wanted to know if maybe you'd be my girlfriend because i seriously like you and i don't want eren to steal you from me at all because you honestly deserve better and i think that you may know that"
"i just met you not to long ago." she stated raising an eyebrow at his statement, but she ignored the last part of his words, not wanting to deal with eren right now
"i know! that's why i asked section commander hanji, because i was nervous" he stated playing with his finger as she sighed and looked at him once again before looking at hanji
"give me some time." she said and took her gear off, replacing it as they both stood and watched as she pulled both of her swords out only to shoot a hook in a pole and go on top of it to kill any titans in her way as she saw several waiting
she went forwards, letting herself loosen as she fell forwards before closing her eyes and going back to the top as dazai and hanji looked worried but also looked amazed at her skills
she felt the need to let herself go, almost like a figurine skater sliding on the ice as they skated to a slow, passions and meaningful song, waiting for their lover to give then a sweet and meaningful kiss (yuri on ice?)
she heard the clamp sound below her only to find a titan trying to eat at her but she reincarnated her actions and flew down and sliced its nape off falling onto the ground with the as the body of the titans head emitted smoke as it died
she went on to the next one, slicing the nape kf but with two swords this time, switching hers out immediately as she sliced the next one going further and further into the forest
she decided she was eventually tired and went back to the base with dazai and hanji following shortly behind her as she saw an angry levi and an annoyed eren
she rolled her eyes deciding to walk past him but he put a hand on her shoulder, stopping her from going any further as she looked ahead as he sighed
"stop. we need to talk" he said calmly as she rolled her eyes followed up by her backing up and going to face him as she stared at the taller girl in front of him
"about what?" she asked with the curiosity leaking out through her tone as he looked at hanji who stood behind dazai out of fear of [name] hurting someone
"about the family." he stated as she chuckled before kneeling down to look at him face to face in the eye with the dark smirk on her face growing wider and wider
"its only us three, you can deal with it without me, levi." she stated yawning in his face and getting up and walking away as he stood there fuming with anger
