The light from the sun struck my face and I realized that I wasn't holding Felix's little body anymore, but instead, my arms were wrapped around a full-grown body.

"Rog?" I whispered and he groaned as he held my body tighter. "Rog, is that you?" I struggled to open my eyes and he hummed and breathed on my neck.

"You're here, love!" I squealed and hugged him as tightly as I could which made his eyes shot open in shock. "I didn't think you'd make it. I'm so happy!" I kept on caressing his back as I showered his face with tiny kisses which made him giggle.

"I could never imagine missing Christmas, babe." He said and my heart was so happy that I crashed my lips into his and nibbled on his lower lip. Oh gosh, I've missed this. I've missed my husband.

I felt his hand on the nape of my neck and he kissed me deeper so I held on to him tighter as my mind got lost in the softness and the sweetness of his lips. "I've missed you, babe." He mumbled under his breath, his lips still on mine, which made me smile. "I missed you too. So, so, so much."

He shuffled a bit and sat up, pulling me with him as I scooted a bit so we won't fall off the couch. I was still clutched on his chest with my head buried against it. Oh, how I missed the warmth of his soft body. I missed him so much!

"What time did you get here? Why didn't you call? We could've picked you up from the airport." I rambled and he held my cheeks and gave me a peck on the lips. "Just about two or three hours ago, babe. I immediately hopped on the next available flight back here. I've missed you all so much." He said and he leaned closer to me again to capture my lips.

It seems like his lips never want to leave mine. That's how much we missed each other.

"Are you hungry? There's still a lot of food left, I could prepare you a plate." I asked and he nodded. "I am. But I'll get the kids first. I took Felix up when I arrived, he looked uncomfortable." He said and I almost forgot that I was sleeping with Felix last night. I got too caught up on the fact that my husband was finally home.

He went up to the bedroom and I went to the kitchen to heat last night's dinner as well as cook some pancakes for the kids. I heard Juliet's squealing as I poured the batter on the pan which made me smile. "Dada, kiss!" I heard her say which was followed by Roger's exaggerated kissing sounds which I know makes Juliet laugh a lot.

"Here you go, princess. Sit down and dada will give you your breakfast, alright?" My husband said as he settled Juliet down on her seat but she held her hand up and reached for him again. "Kiss again, dada." She said and Roger moved closer and kissed her chubby cheek again.

She must've missed her dada, too.

My husband left the dining room just as I was about to finish preparing breakfast and I heard Felix's whimpers from upstairs. "Is everything okay there, love?" I called out as I heard footsteps coming down the stairs. Felix was cuddled against Roger's chest and he was bawling his eyes out.

"Oh no. What happened, buddy? Why're you crying?" I asked as I rubbed my hand over Felix's back to calm him down. "Miss dad." He simply said and I saw Roger's lips curl into a smile as he placed a small kiss on top of my son's head. "I miss you too, little buddy."

As soon as we finished breakfast, the kids immediately pulled their dada towards the living room where the Christmas tree and the Christmas presents are. Juliet was jumping up and down as she gave Roger the card that she made for him. My husband was so happy when he saw the drawing and he immediately pulled our princess towards him and hugged her tightly.

As soon as she was released from his hug, she ran towards the tree and carried as many gifts as she can carry in her little arms and dropped it in the middle of the room. I saw how her face contorts into a deep frown as she struggled to carry the gifts which made Roger and I giggle. She was being so cute!

The gifts were wrapped depending on who it was for: pink was for Juliet and blue for Felix. Juliet was smart enough to know this so she sat down on the floor and started crunching and ripping the pink wrapping paper off of her gifts.

As she was doing that, Felix shyly walked towards Roger and handed him his letter. My husband briefly read through it and I saw his eyes glistened a bit as he pulled the little boy into a hug, showering the top of his little head with kisses

"Love you, dad." I heard him say and he hugged him tighter. "I love you too, my boy."

No doubt, everyone was happy with the presents that they got. Juliet was busy dressing up her new Barbie doll, and Felix was busy setting up his race track in the living room with Roger so he could play with his new monster truck.

I was skimming through the new book that my husband got me when Juliet walked towards me and held her hand up so I carried her and sat her beside me on the couch. "Look, dada!" She squealed and I saw that she was showing me how she combed her doll's hair. "Good job, princess. Do you want me to comb your hair too?" I asked and she immediately shook her head and ran away from me.

I chuckled at her reaction. She was starting to hate her long hair and I have told Roger to take her to a salon for her hair cut but he always refused. He said he loved her hair long.

The day went by quickly and I set up the air mattress in the living room so we could watch a Christmas movie as a family. I also took out some blankets and pillows so we could watch comfortably.

Halfway towards the film, Juliet was already snuggled against my chest and was snoring lightly so I held her closer so she could sleep without being bothered by her other family. Roger and Felix were cuddling with each other and I saw my son rubbing my husband's tummy.

I furrowed my eyebrows at Roger, obviously very confused, and he just gave me a small smile and a shrug. Felix continued rubbing my husband's tummy then he placed his ear over it then gave it a small kiss. "I want a new baby, dad." He mumbled and Roger looked at me knowingly and smiled.

"Soon, little buddy. Very much soon."
