I'm not sure, but I really hope this is okay though. :(

Roger had sneezed twice, thrice actually, and he was already growing tired of constantly blowing his nose that was as red as an apple right now. Apparently, Freddie had come home with yet another hairy feline on his arms, triggering the blonde-haired drummer's allergies. "Another one again?" He said when they approached him, he was trying his hardest to yet again hold back another sneeze that is on its way. "I'd say why not, am I right?"

Freddie laughed, still in awe with his new friend, continuously stroking his cat's furry back which, of course, earned a purr from him, much to the singer's delight. Roger, on the other hand, had retracted to the bedroom, trying to get away from the reason why his nose is all puffy and hurting right now. But apparently, pesky little Freddie followed him there too. "Do you wanna hold him?" He said and tried to pass the little kitty but Roger had crawled towards the edge of the bed, away from the two, annoyance starting to enfold his tiny body. Doesn't he realize that I don't want anything to do with his new pet? He had thought.

And yes, the singer doesn't realize that. He was too preoccupied with his new playmate to notice Roger's exasperation. "I think I should name him Roger..." Freddie said, pointing at the young blonde who, by now, had wide eyes in shock. "... because he's a cool cat. Just. Like. You. Boop." He tapped Roger's nose as the words fell from his mouth with his toothy smile, then left the room to attend to the needs of his newly named cat, Roger, which of course, left the drummer open-mouthed in shock and disbelief. Did he really say that? What does that even mean? The words kept repeating over and over his puzzled brain, scrambling it over and over again to find an answer. Unfortunately, unless he asks, he'll never know the answer for sure.

Roger laid down, his back against the bed and his eyes looking towards the ceiling, his mind pondering on his bandmate of many years. With a personality as amazing as his, and physical attributes as great as his, it wouldn't be a surprise that someone would totally fall for him. That he would fall in love with him. His flamboyant attitude had drawn him closer and closer. And as much as he didn't want to admit it, it would be a lie if he wouldn't. And Roger was no liar.

What Roger didn't know was that Freddie is mentally slapping himself right now in the other room as he stroked his new friend whom he had named after the drummer. It was no secret that his appeal had him unintentionally seduced, much to his dismay. After years and years of neglecting his feelings, this was the first time that he had ever acknowledged that yes, he has indeed garnered feelings towards his colleague.

"Freddie?" Roger knocked gently at the slightly opened door of the singer's bedroom, determined to know the answers to his questions, once and for all. "Come in." Freddie answered, waving him towards the edge of the bed. He entered with uneasiness, but seeing his soft smile drew him to sit closer, smelling Freddie's scent along the way, which pleasantly made him at ease. "I need to tell you something." They both said, at the exact same time, laughing after they realized what has happened. Oh, how adorable are his laughs, Roger smiled as he looked at the man who was laughing so hard, his eyes had been filled with tears. "That was... unexpected." He finally said after his fits of laughter. "Go on. What do you need to tell me?" He continued and suddenly, Roger felt his sweat starting to form, his hands starting to shake, and his mouth starting to dry. Can he really tell him?

To answer that question, no. He can't tell him. Because he couldn't risk losing their friendship, their working relationship. He couldn't risk all of those things because of a simple crush. "I... um..." He started, he was getting all nervous at the amount of attention Freddie was giving him, he can almost feel that he was interested in what he was going to say. "What is it?" He was asked again. Roger breathed deeply as he saw his eyes looking at him curiously. "I just... um... want to tell you..."

"Tell me what?" He persisted. What is it that he wanted to tell him that he couldn't say directly? Freddie was obviously dying in curiosity and, oddly and strangely enough, seemed to know what the young blonde was going to say. "... that I can't live with another cat." Roger continued and the singer's heart dropped. He really thought... he really thought that he was going to say the L-word, apparently not. How stupid of me to think of that. Of course, he's not interested in me, or men in general! He thought, laughing at himself for being foolish enough to believe that Roger, his Roger would suddenly wake up and look at him differently, look at him with love. "What're you laughing about?"

Freddie abruptly stopped. Oh gosh! He thought he was laughing in his mind. He didn't realize that he was laughing like a maniac in front of Roger. Oh, you really are a foolish little fool! "Yeah. Yeah, okay. I could take him to John's, but I'm never giving him away." Because in the first place, why would he give away the cat that he named after Roger? If he did that then yes, he's definitely a fool. "I'm not expecting you to. I'm sorry for asking this, my allergies are gonna be the end of me."

"I didn't realize that your allergies are because of my cats." Freddie replied, then he looked at his eyes, realizing that his blue orbs are looking back at him. This time around, it was his mouth that turned dry, and it was his hands that shook profusely. He was nervous. "You wanna say something else?" He asked and Roger's hair flew from side to side as he shook his head in response. "No, that was it." He replied as he stood up, gave him a small smile, then walked out of the room as nonchalantly as he can, even though his heart was racing and beating so fast. You're such a coward, Roger! Why can't you tell him?

But I guess that's it. I just wouldn't tell him, he thought. I could live without telling him about my feelings. It wouldn't hurt, would it?

On the other hand, Freddie flipped on the bed continuously, his cat named Roger staring at him in annoyance as he was bounced by his owner's sudden movements. In one last flip, the singer faced his cat, stroked him gently then cuddled him, imagining that this cat was Roger, his drummer. "I really hope you like me too, as much as I like you, Roger." He mumbled, not too loudly but enough for the cat to react to the echoes of his voice. "You know what? I like you, Roger. I like you so much, and that's the truth." He continued, not minding the volume of his voice. It was just Roger the cat that was hearing him anyway.

"I couldn't imagine going to work without you in the studio with me, Roger. You make our tedious job very endurable, and I love you for that." Love? Did I really say love? Maybe I do love him. He giggled and nodded, stroking Roger the cat once more who have now fallen asleep in his touch. "Yeah, maybe I do love you, Roger."

The young man was stopped on his tracks. Roger had heard Freddie's admission. He was back in his room, wanting to talk to him again, to tell him the truth, to tell him what he really feels, but I guess he was the one that heard the truth, right from the singer's lips. Roger walked closer and glanced at the two who was comfortably sleeping beside each other. He felt a smile forming on his lips as he memorized the scene in front of him in his mind, unconsciously removing the cat from the picture and interchanging it with his body. Oh, how he would do anything to cuddle with Freddie. Roger, you lucky cat!

"Maybe I do love you too, Freddie." Roger mumbled then sighed deeply. Why did I even bother saying this when he's obviously asleep? The young blonde carefully tiptoed towards the exit, gently closing the door so the two wouldn't be awoken by his noise. I guess we'll have the 'talk' next time, then. If there'll ever be a next time. He couldn't bear going another day playing friends with him when Roger knew that their feelings were mutual. He sighed again, maybe this was for the best.

Roger didn't know this, but he heard him. Freddie wasn't asleep.
