Jasmine awoke the next morning to a soft suckling sensation on her neck. It seemed that in her sleep she had turned away from Taehyung so that she was the little spoon. Taehyung's arms were loosely wrapped around her waist as his teeth were pressed lightly into the base of her neck, sucking on the skin softly as he slept. She didn't even think he knew he was doing it, but as she tried to move from his grasp, he clamped harder onto her, pulling her tighter to his chest as he sucked harder.

A soft moan passed through Jasmine's lips at the sensation, sending a tremble of pleasure through her. Swallowing hard, she tried to maneuver herself out once again, this time more discreetly. Slowly but surely, she slid out of her clingy hybrid's arms and got off the bed and padded to her en-suite. She had to get ready for work.

Upon looking at herself in the mirror, an audible gasp escaped from her. There, right at the base of her neck was a dark hickey. It wasn't too large which she was thankful for, but she wasn't sure that makeup could entirely conceal it. Upon closer inspection, she could see a slight press mark of teeth around it, one that would disappear sooner than later. Flushing, she wiped at the mark, seeing if she could remove any of it by some form of luck, but it was no use.

Sighing, she got ready to work, covering up the hickey as best as she could. Walking back to the bed, she saw Taehyung cuddling onto a pillow. Usually she would wake him up to say goodbye but he still looked exhausted so she decided it would be better to let him rest and wrote him a note instead. She placed it onto the bedside table before walking to work.

"Hi, love!" Jimin called enthusiastically as Jasmine stepped into the coffee shop, the ringing sound of the bell alerting him. He rounded the corner of the counter and pulled Jasmine into a big, warm hug. Jasmine laughed lightly and hugged him back.

"I saw you yesterday Jiminie," she chuckled.

"What, so I can't hug you because I saw you yesterday?" He argued playfully, rolling his eyes.

"Of course you can." She cooed, pinching his cheek. Jimin pouted, pulling his face away and rubbing his cheek. Jasmine began setting up the coffee machines while Jimin put all the pastries on display. After they worked swiftly to open the shop, the first stream of customers started pouring in.

The mornings were always the busiest. It always seemed like there was a never ending torrent of businessmen and businesswomen lining up, with the occasional elderly person or regular patron in between. But after the morning rush, there was a good break time in between to recoup before the lunch rush.

Jimin sighed, slumping into his seat behind the counter.

"Was it busier today or was it just me?" He said breathlessly. Jasmine couldn't help but agree. It really was more busy than usual, but she was happy that the business was doing so well. She was also glad that the new staff Jimin hired was working today. It helped immensely.

"I think you need to whip up more cupcakes Jimin, there's none left for the rest of the day." Jasmine pointed out, gesturing towards the almost empty display cabinet, spare for a couple straggling sandwiches.

"So what happened yesterday?" Jimin asked curiously as they began to refill some stock for the lunch rush.

"What do you mean?" Jasmine asked distractedly.

"With Taehyung. He was weirder than usual." Jasmine shot him a playful glare at his word choice.

"He's not weird!" Jasmine grumbled, frowning.

"Could've fooled me." Jimin snickered under his breath before wincing in pain at the punch Jasmine launched into his shoulder.

"I was kidding, love. No need to resort to violence."

Jasmine sighed. "Well, he's been awfully clingy lately. But it got pretty bad yesterday, I would say. I mean you saw how he was at your place - he wouldn't even let poor Jungkook near me!" She said exasperatedly.

"Has he... been feeling a bit weird? You did mention he felt a bit sick." Jimin asked carefully. Jasmine wondered how she could explain it.

"Well he said that his skin has been feeling strange, like it was prickly? And only I made him feel better." It seemed like Jimin's hunch was correct. He just had to ask a couple more questions to be completely sure.

"Hmm, what about his tail? Has it been swaying - WHAT IS THAT ON YOUR NECK?" Jimin sputtered, pointing at her. Confused, Jasmine lifted her hand to her neck.

"What is what on my neck?" She asked, looking in the mirror that was placed in front of the hand washing sink. Gasping, she clamped her hand over her now visible hickey. It seemed that the makeup sweated off a little during the morning rush.

"It's a... hickey." Jasmine mumbled, cheeks ablaze.

"So you and Taehyung have been getting busy." Jimin wiggled his brows at her suggestively. Immediately, she shook her head in denial, her hands waving in front of her.

"It's not like that." She denied. "I woke up this morning and he was asleep, biting me softly and sucking my skin. He's never done it before but I'm completely sure he was asleep." She could feel the flush reach her neck as she tried to explain to her best friend.

"He was biting you?" Jasmine gulped at Jimin's expression.

"Yes?" She said hesitantly. Jimin looked at her, alarmed.

"That's not good. Ugh, I'm so stupid, all the signs were right there but I just wanted to be sure!" Jimin scolded himself, pacing back and forth in the back of the shop.

"What's wrong Jimin? You're scaring me a little." Jasmine asked nervously, looking back into the shop to make sure the customers were okay. Their other coworker seemed to be handling it just fine.

"Listen to me carefully, love," Jimin held Jasmine's shoulders and crouched down to her eye level to look into her eyes.

"Taehyung is in heat."
