Months had passed and Jasmine and Taehyung has gotten closer than ever. Everyday before and after Jasmine went to work, Taehyung stepped in close to her and scented her. She still hadn't gotten used to it but learnt to just go with the motions and enjoy it secretly. The sensation wasn't as intense as the first time and Jasmine couldn't be more thankful. Jasmine still made sure Taehyung was settled in bed before going to her own room to sleep and always made sure they had breakfast together and spent her days off together. Jungkook and Taehyung had become attached to the hip and Taehyung had also become friendlier to Jimin. Everything was falling into place for Jasmine.

It was a late afternoon at the coffee shop and Jasmine checked the time to see it was ten minutes until her shift ended. Which meant that Taehyung would be here soon to pick her up. She smiled fondly at the thought. She loved the way he commanded attention everywhere he went without so much as lifting a paw. It wasn't even the fact that he was a hybrid, it was purely the fact that he exuded a magnetic pull of attraction from anybody and everybody. It's what made it so hard to resist his requests. Lately she had noticed that Taehyung had become clingier toward her. He would always make sure that some part of him was touching her, whether it was his head resting on her shoulder or his tail holding onto her ankle. He just wanted to be near her at all times, not that she minded in the slightest. To be honest, she reveled in it. She loved that he wanted to spend as much time with her as she did with him.

The doorbell dinged and she turned, expecting to see her pretty cat, but instead she got the shock of her life. In the flesh stood Kim Namjoon, the handsome boy - now a man - who still sent a pang through her heart whenever her thoughts would absentmindedly slip to him. Her ex-boyfriend.

"Jazz, is that you?" Namjoon's comforting voice cut through her daze that she happened to be in. She shook her head to snap out of it.

"Namjoon? Hi. It's been a while." Jasmine stared at him, unsure how to respond properly. He had gotten taller and more handsome with his hair styled up to show off his forehead. He still had those warm eyes that she loved so much but this time they were encased in clear frames. His dimples winked at her as he smiled, eyes wrinkling up in joy. He walked up to the counter, right in front of Jasmine.

"It really has. How have you been?"

"I've been good Namjoon. Really good, actually. And yourself? I didn't know that you had moved to Seoul!" Namjoon smiled.

"I actually just moved back recently. I finished the rest of my studies here and then went back home for a bit but my parents want me to overlook the family business branch in Seoul so I'm back. It might even be for good." His words washed over Jasmine. Namjoon was back for good?

"Wow, I'm so happy for you! I'm glad you've been doing so well for yourself." Jasmine smiled at him. Namjoon stood there for a moment before chuckling awkwardly and scratching the back of his neck.

"Hey Jazz, whenever you finish work today, would you mind having a little chat to catch up? I'm happy to wait until whenever you finish, no rush!" The words gushed out of Namjoon so quickly that he stumbled on a couple. Jasmine chuckled affectionately. She had always found it adorable when he was nervous.

"Yeah of course. I actually finish in about five minutes. I can find you when I'm done?" Namjoon sighed in relief and broke out into another smile. He ordered a coffee and took a seat by the window, pulling out a book from his briefcase to read while he waited.

Jasmine stepped into the back before finding Jimin.

"Jiminie. You will never guess who's sitting in the shop right now." Jasmine whispered, staring at him alarmingly. Jimin tilted his head to the side in confusion.

"Umm Jungkook and Taehyung?" Jasmine furrowed her brows and shook her head so fast it almost made her dizzy.

"What - no- ugh. Jimin, I'm being serious!"

"So was I, Jazz. What's going on?"

"It's Namjoon. Namjoon is in your shop! And he asked to have a chat after my shift! Which is now! Why am I freaking out?" Jasmine grabbed Jimin's shoulders and shook him in exasperation.

"Namjoon? You mean Kim Namjoon? Oh Lord, he's in Seoul?" Jasmine nodded frantically.

"He is. And he's as handsome as ever. Why is he doing this to me?" Jasmine whined, slumping her shoulders down.

"Jasmine, love, relax. Why are you freaking out? He's just a boy."

"A man, Jimin. He's now a man. A very fine man, at that." Jimin laughed at her, pushing her shoulder playfully.

"Love, I think you have bigger things to worry about than that." Jasmine turned toward Jimin and stared at him.

"What do you mean?"

"Your overprotective hybrid is about to be here any second and you're swooning over a man that isn't him, and the cherry on top is that you're going to be having a coffee and chat with said man right in front of him." The words took three times as normal for Jasmine to fully process before she facepalmed.

"Crap."
