When Jasmine said 'something fun', Taehyung did not imagine himself to be bundled up in a thick jacket, beanie and a scarf, wobbling on thin skates on a giant arena of ice with his hands outstretched, yet here he was, moving so slowly as Jasmine skated circles around him in amusement.

Yes he was a cat, and cats were meant to have impeccable balance, but that didn't include balancing all his body weight on two thin metal blades under his feet and acting as if he wasn't risking his life right now. He wobbled his way toward Jasmine, his knees buckling with every movement, a soft mewl of disapproval emitting from his throat. She laughed at how comically cute he looked and glided over to hold his hands.

"Here, I'll help you." Jasmine began skating backwards while holding his hands to keep him balanced as they slowly made themselves around the arena.

"This is torture, J. I thought you said something fun!" Taehyung whined, pouting.

"This is fun, tiger. Look at everybody laughing and enjoying themselves here." Jasmine let go of his hands and gestured to all the other people skating. Taehyung panicked as she let go and his foot slipped from under him, throwing him onto his back with a gruff 'oof'. Jasmine laughed like a madman, tears beginning to form as Taehyung made no effort to try to get up from the floor. He was content just laying there if it mean he wouldn't have to fall over again, but Jasmine has other plans as she reached down and began to pull him up. He slowly got up with her guidance.

"Is this punishment for how I was around that human?" Jasmine chuckled softly and took off his beanies to give his ears a quick scratch before placing the beanie back on.

"No tiger, it's not. You weren't bad at all around Namjoon actually." Taehyung emitted a low growl at the human's name passing through her lips.

"You still like him."

"No Tae, I don't still like him. He's a very lovely and handsome person but I don't have feelings for him like that." Taehyung's eye twitched. He could feel the jealousy bubbling from his chest.

"I'm better looking than he is." She rolled her eyes at his childish demeanor.

"Yes yes, you're the most handsome in the world, okay?" Taehyung nodded righteously at her response, his long hair bouncing with his head.

"Even when you're falling over." She giggled, skating away just in time for his hand to miss swiping at her. She glided backwards, poking her tongue at him.

"Get back here," Taehyung growled, attempting to move as fast as he could without falling over. It was still at a snail's pace which made Jasmine laugh even louder.

"Make me." A rush of excitement flooded through Taehyung at those words and his eyes sparkled at the challenge. Jasmine skated circles around him teasing by going closer and then moving away in a pinch whenever his hands got close to her.

Taehyung readied himself for the moment she moved close to him again, clenching and unclenching his hands for the perfect opportunity to strike. When she got close, he bent his knees and pushed his skates forward as fast as they would go into her direction with his hands outstretched. Jasmine watched on in horror as Taehyung couldn't manage to keep his balance as he lunged toward her, his arms flailing as he began to tumble backward. She went forward to grab onto him but he was already falling too fast.

Taehyung moved on instinct and pulled her into his chest, covering her head with his arms as he braced to take all the impact with the added weight. Once his back slammed into the ice, he groaned in pain as the air was pushed out of his lungs sharply. They laid there for a few moments in shock of what just happened.

Jasmine lifted her head up from Taehyung's chest and saw him staring at her. She couldn't help the bubble of laughter that escaped her mouth at the ridiculousness of the situation. Taehyung chuckled back; her laughter was too contagious.

"Are you alright, tiger? I'm heavy aren't I?" She whispered, finally noticing the close proximity of their faces. They were mere inches apart.

"Didn't feel a thing, are you hurt?" He whispered back, his hand reaching up to stroke her cheek with the back of his index finger. She leaned into his comforting touch.

"Not at all, I had a fluffy pillow cushion my fall." She smiled, a tendril of hair falling over her face. Taehyung tucked the stray hair back behind her ear. Time seemed to stop as they stared deep into each other's eyes. Jasmine could see all the affection he had for her within them and she wondered if he saw the same thing. She hadn't noticed that she had unconsciously been moving her head toward his, their faces so close that she could even see the beauty spot on the waterline of his eye. She breathed out a puff of hair that warmed Taehyung lips as he moved even closer toward her, licking his lips unconsciously with his eyes fluttering closed.

A sound of shrill laughter from beside them where other kids were playing on the ice sent the pair back into reality. Jasmine scrambled off of Taehyung, her cheeks warm. Taehyung let out a disgruntled grumble before slowly picking himself off the floor. She smiled and slid her small hand into his, guiding him once more to move along the ice. No overthinking things, she chanted in her head. It was definitely her imagination, I mean she moved her head towards him, not the other way around. Her heart was still beating fast from the memory of what just happened. And what could have happened if they weren't interrupted.

"Can we leave now? I think my back is broken from falling so many times." Taehyung grumbled, rubbing his back for extra measure.

"Of course tiger, lets go."
