"Stop, J!" Taehyung whined, moving his face away as Jasmine tried to swipe the sauce off the side of his face from his food.
"Stay still." She urged, still reaching to grab his moving face. He grabbed her hand and looked into her eyes.
"I got it, I can do it myself." Taehyung no longer wanted to be treated like a child that she had to look after. He wanted her to see him as her mate, someone she could depend on to look after her and her needs. Nonetheless when Jasmine pouted at him, he just gave in and allowed her to clean him up. Whatever made her happy, he would be willing to give her.
After breakfast, Taehyung pushed Jasmine to the living room while he cleaned. She felt really weird about it because usually she would be cooking and cleaning so it was a nice change of pace. She flipped on the TV and began to watch as Taehyung came by with a cup of coffee for her and warm milk for him, setting it on the coffee table and laying his head into her lap. Her hand dipped into his silky hair before moving up to scratch his ears lightly. His soft purr of contentment filled the room as he closed his eyes and just enjoyed the feeling.
Once Taehyung had fallen asleep on her lap, Jasmine slipped out from under him and began to clean the house. Jimin had told her that himself and Jungkook were coming over today to hang out since the coffee shop was closed.
When she was done, she pulled out ingredients to make her signature chocolate chip cookies. Taehyung padded into the kitchen sleepily, wrapping his arms around her and resting his chin on her shoulder as she began measuring out the butter.
"What're you doing, J?" Taehyung had slipped back into calling her by his normal nickname and Jasmine couldn't help but feel a bit of disappointment within her.
"I'm baking chocolate chip cookies, want to help?" She asked, craning her head to the side so she could see him slightly. With a soft nod, he pressed a kiss to the part where her neck and shoulder met and let go of her. Jasmine had given him the task of browning the butter for the recipe, keeping an eye on him as she continued to prepare the rest of the ingredients.
"Watch it carefully," she warned. "It can go from caramel to black very quickly so make sure you keep your eye on it, tiger." He only nodded in response, his eyes not leaving the pot.
The kitchen began to smell just like a bakery, a sweet yet comforting aroma that Jasmine loved. When they had taken the cookies out of the oven, they both worked quickly to pack up and clean the mess just in time as their doorbell had rung.
"I'll get it!" Taehyung shouted, trying to hide the excitement from his voice as he pranced often to the front door. Jasmine smiled in amusement and followed him.
"Mmm, smells good in here! Am I back at work?" Jimin joked as he stepped into the house. Jasmine rolled her eyes at his lame joke and walked over to give him a hug.
"Hilarious," she said dryly. "I made cookies! They might even be good enough to rival yours." She said cheekily as Jimin giggled, his eyes scrunching up.
"Hi noona!" Jungkook squeaked, diving into her arms to give her a big hug. Jasmine's eyes twinkled as she hugged Jungkook back, before petting his soft ears.
"Jungkook, guess what! I made cookies!" Taehyung boasted after saying hi to Jimin with a little wave. Jungkook lifted his nose into the air and began to sniff, his eyes closed as he sighed happily.
"Is that what the smell was! I could smell it from outside but it smells soooo much better in here!" His foot began thumping on the floor lightly as he got excited.
