Jun went to Lee's home with Amber. She agreed to Jun's intuition and agreed to follow her.
Anna was there, sitting on the couch with one leg on top of the other, a box of popcorn in her hands.
"Lee, didn't Shasha say that some place in her country is famous for pickled nutmeg?" Anna said. "I always wanted to try some..."
"Sure, Princess," Lee said. "Sugie mentioned the place. It's one of the most famous beaches in Malaysia. It's called Penang Island."
"Yeah, I think I've tried it once," Jun agreed. "They're really sour..."
"Really?" Anna said, surprised. "Shasha said she can finish a large pack alone in one day if no one stops her!"
"Is she okay?" Amber asked, weirded out. "That thing's really sour..."
"She said even her friends said that it's strange," Anna said with a shrug. "But she didn't find it so weird."
Jun sensed something else too. She went towards Anna and took her hand, surprising her.
"What is it, Jun?" Anna asked, confused.
Jun held her hand in hers and felt something. She smiled and looked up at Anna.
"Anna, I have good news for you," Jun said with warm smile. "You're going to be a mother."
Anna looked surprised. She almost dropped her popcorn in shock.
"Really?" Anna asked in surprise. "For how long? Oooo is it a boy or a girl?"
"For about two weeks now," Jun said, sensing the life within her. "The gender..."
"Queenie, I don't think it's possible to know the gender this early," Lee pointed out, trying to turn on the display for the spy satellite.
"No, Honey, it's because when Jun found out about her pregnancy with Jin, she knew that her baby was a boy," Anna pointed out. "She just knew, and it was barely two weeks after she got pregnant."
"It's a girl," Jun said. "A little baby girl."
"Aww, I've always wanted a daughter," Anna said with a smile. "Lee, let's set up a nursery!"
Lee was just as happy for her too. As soon as he finished turning the display on, he went to her and carried her bridal style. Jun and Amber smiled, seeing how happy they were.
'If only Kazuya was with me when I found out,' Jun thought. 'He would've been so much happier. Things would've been so different now.'
She remembered how she found out exactly after Kazuya left to face his father during the second tournament. She remembered the sight of Heihachi dropping him into the mouth of a volcano.
Jun teared up a bit when she remembered that incident. She didn't wanna spoil the moment for the happy couple that were soon-to-be parents and gave them a smile before heading off to the bathroom.
'I mustn't think about the past,' Jun thought. 'What's important now is that Kazuya is back, Jin is safe and my family is whole. What happened in the past doesn't matter now.'
She wiped her tears away and washed her face before going back to the living room. Lee was still fussing around Anna and asked his maids to prepare for a grand feast for dinner.
"I'm inviting everyone," Lee said. "We need to celebrate this, baby."
"Aww, your baby has another baby in her now, Boo," Anna said in a loving voice. "Let's plan on her name."
Lee looked for Jin using the spy satellite. His Mazda6 was seen leaving the Mishima Zaibatsu building. Lee followed the car and realised that he was heading straight for Xiaoyu's home.
"Does Ailbert still live there?" Lee asked, looking intently at the house across from Xiaoyu's. "That's his car, right?"
"Yeah," Amber said, squinting at the car parked outside. "Yep, he still lives there."
"He was soo happy when we told him that Joseph was dead," Anna said. "The guy really tortured him to the maximum level."
"I agree..." Jun said. "Poor guy was traumatised."
They watched as Jin picked Xiaoyu up and headed for ice skating rink. Jin has been taking lessons from Alisa so that he could show off in front of Xiaoyu.
"I think that bit was kinda lame," Lee said with a smirk. "But think about it. Two years ago, Jin was a straight-faced emotionless man that hardly smiled. And now, he took ice skating lessons just to show off in front of his girl!"
"That's a huge improvement, if you ask me," Anna said. "Poor guy was really heartbroken..."
"Yeah..." Jun agreed. "I tried really hard to go back to him, but Angel said that it was for the best that we stayed apart. Come to think of it, she only let me after Shasha arrived in Japan."
"Maybe it's because she helped fix my relationship with Nina," Anna said with a shrug. "It might've been a catalyst for the events."
"It might've been because you three were supposed to find me in that party Kazuya hosted!" Jun pointed out. "Everything happened for a reason! The reason why Angel finally let me return when I did was because I needed a place to stay before meeting Kazuya!"
"And you stayed with us!" Anna said, realisation dawning on her. "And Nina might've not gone to the ball alone if Shasha wasn't there!"
"Everything happened for a reason..." Amber said. "Because only shortly after Jun's return have I been cleansed by Angel."
"It all makes sense now," Jun said. "Everything had to be in the right place."
"You guys wanna spy on Jin or not?" Lee suddenly said, crunching on some popcorn. "Seems like everything just dawned on you now."
"I think our team just needed a little bit of positivity," Anna said with a shrug. "Because if I decided to confront Nina before Shasha's arrival, one of us might've died."
"You sure about that, Princess?" Lee asked, surprised. "The two of you launched war in the streets for days and none of you got hurt. The only thing that happened was you guys destroyed buildings..."
Anna grinned sheepishly. For some reason, she kept putting her hand on her belly. She couldn't feel the baby yet, but she liked the feeling to know that a new life was growing within her.
'What shall we name you?' Anna asked her baby with her heart. 'Daddy and I will decide for you, don't worry.'
They watched as Jin and Xiaoyu entered the skating rink together. It was an indoor rink so they couldn't see anything that happened in there.
That's not what Jun was interested in. She knew that they were happy. She paid more attention to the surroundings, trying to spot anything out of the ordinary.
She didn't know why, but she had this feeling in her. A sinking feeling. Even when nothing seemed out of place.
