I can see my posters everywhere and see my pictures revolving around the social media, sobrang di ko maipaliwanag na naging kilala ulit ang pangalan ko sa industry of music. After that breath taking performance na di ko inakalang magagawa ko kahit sa gitna ng performance I messed up I know it kasi di ko marinig ung boses ko, but I sing loud and proud para kay Pitch. Everyone was mesmerized pero may isang tao pa na sana narinig ang gusto makita akong nasa gitna ulit ng stage na yo'n, ang mama ko.

I got the spot in the top finals, pagkatapos akong makakuha ng score mula sa judges na perfect 10 and from 15 song writer-aspirants down to top 6 finalist and gave us 1 month to create our pieces. I was here again walking alone in the crowded street, ever since we part ways ni Pitch after nung elimination round, I didn't get any calls from her or kamusta man lang. I miss her I cant deny that and I wish sana we can practice again together again kaso wala pa akong nagagawang bagong kanta para maiparinig sa kanya.

" bzzzztttt, bzzzztttt" my phone vibrated kaya napahinto ako sa paglalakdad

I hesitated to answer the call since unknown number siya pero I still pick it up. I hear one familiar voice rolling around my mind. It was Ma'am Mary ang ate ni Pitch, I can feel na parang may bumabagabag sa kanya..

" Rhy?, is that you?" she asked me hesitantly

" yes, who is this" I asked on the other line para makasiguradong si Ma'am Mary nga ang kausap ko.

" si Ma'am Mary mo to, ate ni Pitch, can I asked favor from you?" it was unusual stuff na humingi ng favor si Ma'am sa akin usually ang kausap ni si ate, kaya somewhat I feel curious about it.

" anything po Ma'am, ano po?

" can you go here sa Marcos hospital room 4 sa second floor?" she said but I can feel my heart in pain bigla sa takot at kaba who's in the hospital si ate ba o si Pitch sila lang naman ang dalawang pwedeng maging connected sa akin at kay Ma'am. Di kona naalalang magpaalam kay ma'am Mary nagmadali akong pumunta sa hospital di ko na alam magkano binayad ko sa driver basta I rush towards the hospital and find where is the room 4 in the second floor parang bumagal ang oras at naririnig ko lang ang puso ko sa takot at kabang nararamdaman ko, maybe I overthink of something baka di naman Malala, pero ang tanong ko sa sarili ko kung sino?

I found the room at dali-dali kong binuksan ang pinto and I found no one lying in bed, but a woman dancing without a music roaming around, Pitch Castañeda. Kinabahan ako ng walang dahilan I just overthink for nothing.

" Rhyyyy" sigaw niya sabay biglang tumakbo papalapit s akin and she hug me

" bat ngayon kalang katagal moa san yung doughnuts ko?" she asked me

" huh?" the only thing I answered

" bibisita ka sa akin wala kang dalang pagkain that's not fair habang may bibisitahin ka dapat may dala kang pasalubong"

Di ko alam ganoon pala yun, pero I was nervous kasi akala ko ano nang nangyayare or sino ang nasa hospital kaya wala na rin sa tamang pagiisip.

" so whats the matter bakit ka nandito?" I asked her as I sit in the bed dahil sobrang naninikip ang dibdib ko kanina pero I felt better now nung nakita kong okay lang naman pala ang lahat.

" wala, I just fainted lang but nothing serious, glad you came. How did you know?" tanong niya sa akin habang umupo rin sa tabi ko, she look different right now I can see on her eyes na may ibang mga bagay siyang iniisip.

" ah! Your sister, sinabi niya sa akin kanina" I answered her queries. A moment later the door creaks and pumasok si ma'am Mary.

" there you are kanina pa kita inaantay, Pitch said..." bigla siyang natigilan at di na tinuloy ang sasabihn niya.

" ah.. Pitch said she wants to congratulate you again that's why I call you" she said but if that's the only point she can call me but.. it doesn't matter, ako lang naman pala ang close friend niya who else ma'am Mary could invite to visit her.

" maiwan ko muna kayo at I just pay for the bill para makauwe na tayo mamaya okay" pagpapalam ni ma'am Mary I see her winked to Pitch, I don't know what it means but I see on my peripherals tha Pitch smiles a sudden.

" so congratulations again Mister people favorite" she said " so what's next? Kaylan tayo ulit gagawa ng bagong Piece mo for finals? almost 2 weeks nalang wala kapang practice"

" paano tayo magkaka-practice kung nandito ka? besides wala pa tayong song, i want you to make 1 verse of it" I answered her question.

She just smiled and say the most crucial question I never dreamed I could answer in front of her.

" Tell me Rhy, if your life was pre-determined what will you do?"

I look at her, why did this woman bring that topic suddenly?

" me? Sa totoo lang di ko alam ang isasagot ko sayo but being with everyone in every moment I am standing was the answer in my mind, pero if my life was has a limit, I will do what makes people happy."

" glad to here that, parehas lang pala tayo" sabi niya sa akin I can feel the air in the room change eventually, the mood perhaps.

" pero sa akin, I want to have my name na nakatatak sa puso nila that one time there is someone who make them happy, did I make you happy?" she asked me suddenly while looking and smiling at me at the same time.

"YES" I said loud and proud

The door slammed open at nagulat ako sa taong nasa likod ng pinto, it was Kyle. He came back from the event at dumaretso sa Hospital dahil dala-dala niya pa lahat ng gamit niya.

" Pitch. How are you?" as he take the hands of Pitch para siyang Boyfriend na nagaalala sa Girlfriend, the main actor came back to the act at tapos na yung role ko dito. I step up at pumunta sa may couch habang umupo naman si Kyle sa tabi ni Pitch.

" what happen ?" I asked him as he finally notice my presence.

" ohh Bro, kanina lang we lose, our team lose kaya umuwe na rin ako ng bigla kong nakita sa social media yung post na pictures ni Ma'am Mary, it was a Picture of Pitch that's why nagmadali na rin akonag umuwe" he said at turn again his gazed to Pitch, " are you really okay"

I stared at them at I can't deny the fact na mukang masaya ang mga mata niya ngayon hindi gaya kanina sa akin, I stand up at di na ako nagpaalam na aalis na ako they didn't notice at all naman kaya I made my way and step out of the box; the true king has arrived at and pawn ay di na kaylangan.
