it has been a week after the sudden death shinra witnessed with his own eyes and yet it seems so hard for him to move on. he loves her, anyway, so it was understandable. anyone who has a special someone that died would feel the same, but what else can shinra even do? he's not even in her world anymore. he was back at his own home, yet it feels so empty without her despite the fact that he longed to be with his family once more. however, one thought never left his system alone. why did she have to sacrifice herself for my sake?

"so, are you saying that you saw the lieutenant with someone and you think that it's his girlfriend?" shinra asked the blonde who was currently walking alongside him towards their office to continue their paperworks and finish them already so that they can lay low for the rest of the day. well, not until their alarm would come blaring, of course.

"yeah, but now that i think about it. i highly doubt that it's his girlfriend. i mean, is he even interested in those? just an acquaintance during his past job, maybe?" arthur shrugged, and since shinra doesn't have anything left to say, he kept his mouth shut as they finally entered their office, not wanting to let hinawa hear what they were talking about a few moments ago and luckily for them, he was currently busy to hear any of their nonsense.

"wha- oi, shinra. that girl. it's who i'm talking about!" arthur whisper-yells on the latter's ear in surprise, which caused shinra to give the girl a stare, and heck did she look awfully familiar.
