Zelda's POV

The champions wait at the bottom of Mt. Lanayru. Who knows how long they will wait. The climb is hard. Even with wool coats Link and I are freezing. He holds a torch which gives the only warmth. He doesn't talk much. Just with me. "Are you sure you need to go up here?" asks Link. "Link you know the answer to that. I can't let Hyrule down." He pulls me closer to him. "We should get to the top soon." We've been walking for days up the mountain. The three of us. Link, me, and his wolf whom he named "wolf Link."

The wolf comes closer to us. Wagging it's tail and nipping at Link's hand playfully. "We just need to get up this last slope." he says ignoring the wolf. Our breath comes out in puffs. I grab out the Sheika slate. "It's below zero according to the Shieka slate." I shiver. Mt. Lanayru is one of the tallest mountains in Hyrule. But you got to do what you got to do. I have to save Hyrule.

We make our way up the slope. Slipping and sliding. Until we see the spring. To my surprise a large snake type creature lies near it. "A dragon." Dragon's are holy creatures. Said to be the spirits of the three goddesses themselves. the last two springs had no prevail. But maybe this one does. The dragon seems to nod at me as I approach it. I take off my coat. I wear the dress I use to pray. A white dress. The triforce symbol on it.

Before I can step into the water to pray Link stops me. "Zelda I..... I want you to know something." he blushes. "No matter what happens after this calamity. I want you to know I love you. i have since the moment I met you." I'm stunned. "I.... I love you to link." I kiss him. I truly do love him. And no matter what happens, I always will.

Finally we pull apart. I turn and step into the water. Unable to stop thinking about him. "Please, Hylia. I have visited the other springs. I have visited the spring of power, and the spring of courage. Please Nayru grant me the power to save Hyrule." I stand in silence for a moment. My eyes closed. Link is kneeling by the spring as he always does.  "Please for Link. For our life." I whisper. Suddenly my eyes pop open. Why? The dragon comes closer to me. Then turns into a woman. She has a gentle face. Blue hair and a blue dress on. Beside appear two other woman. One with red hair and one with green.

I don't need to be told who they are. I kneel. "Din, Nayru, Fayror." Is all I can say. Link gasps. "Come closer." says Fayror to him. He gets up. Then walks over and kneels before them. "Rise." says Nayru. We do. "You Princess Zelda and your knight, deserve the power that is granted in your blood line." "We have heard you call our names. Heard you cry out for mercy on Hyrule." "You deserve the triforce." "More than any other hero and princess we have ever seen." "You truly love Hyrule and each other."

I'm stunned. "But why now?" I ask. "Before princess you asked because your father ordered you too. This time you asked specifically for you and Link. You asked for Hyrule. Not because someone told you too. But because you felt that it was right. Princess Zelda of Hyrule. I bestow upon you the triforce of wisdom." Nayru places her hand in mine. She seems to glow with power. A triforce symbol glows on my hand. One triangle glows most of all.

"Link." says Fayror stepping forward. "You have served Hyrule well. Protected Hylia. The princess. The kingdoms last hope. You truly have courage. And so I bestow upon you the triforce of courage." She places his hand in hers. She gives him the triforce. The she kneels down beside wolf Link. Places one hand on his head. And to my surprise some sort of dark gem comes from his forehead. A flash of light and a boy stands there. Maybe my age. He wears a green tunic. "Thank you Fayror." is all he says. Then he disappears. The gem disappears in the goddesses hand. "Who was that?" I ask. "An old friend."

"Now" says Din. "I don't have anyone to give the triforce of power to." she sighs "The lat one I entrusted it to was corrupted by it." A tear seems to fall from her eye. "Wait." I say quietly. "There is someone I know that could be strong enough to hold it." "Who is this?" asks Din. She seems the most Hylian like. Instead of being just graceful she is sort of sassy and powerful. She raises an eyebrow. "Her name is Impa." Din's face softens. "I know Impa. She is the reincarnation of an ancient Shieka. A princess of shadows." "I suppose you could say that." Din snaps and Impa appears.

"What?" she looks around sees the goddesses and bows. "Impa of the Sheika tribe. You are a very trusted Sheika. Enough for the princess to trust you with the triforce of power." Impa gasps looking at me. Din puts her hand in Impa's. The triforce appears on Impa's hand. Then the golde goddesses fade away until Din is left. "100's of 1000's of years ago I made a mistake. A creation that got out of hand. Fix that mistake for me." Then she disappears and we are left alone in the spring.
